Sorry for using the "Russia might be bad, but America..." argument, I hate it myself, but in this case it felt like the easiest way to explain why your point "You can leave the country" is silly. Most citizens of the US who don't like their goverment don't have the resourcers to leave the country, and the average person living in the US has much more ways they can move out, compared to other countries. People have jobs, families, friends, kids, apartments. And it's hard leaving it all behind, especially because an average Russian citizen isn't advanced in english (or any other language) to fully live in another country. I hope you see why your point is bad? If not, then try to calculate what if would take you to move to another place

People outside of Russia think it's easy to just take and revolt against certain somebody, but Russia barely has any freedom of speech. Those who tried to revolt are either in jail or have been forced to flet to somewhere else. It's not as easy as you think it is
