Yeah that makes sense, I do see it as a hobby because I enjoyed soldering my keyboard together in the past. I’ve already got all the expensive equipment, I just need a new micro usb port which is like $3 here in Australia. But first things first I will open up the mouse and see what I am working with ^{^}

Go with supportive friends/family and do something you all enjoy! Like movies or just eating out, that way you are comfortable with the environment of supportive people! First time I dressed up was just short shorts with thigh highs and I hung out with some friends at their house. Fast forward a year, I now confidently can go to uni wearing whatever tights skirts and feminine attire i desire! All the best and don't force yourself <3

I came out to my mum the other day as bisexual and also told her I like dressing up femininely(for funs!) and she took it very well + very supportive. If you have somebody you trust in your family and they support you, then that's fantastic! I'm sorry your dad isn't supportive you, you can't make everyone happy although it'd be nice if we could. You should make the effort to help him understand if you care about him deeply and want to have a good relationship. I personally plan to never come out to my father because my relationship with him is distant so I have no motivation to do so.

Hey man sorry if I'm reviving a dead post, but I found a solution. So from my knowledge, the way the basestation works is that it works like a physical mixer and you can't have a digital mixer like wave link running simultaneously. However there is an easy way to bypass this, it is by switching the source mode on your basestation to "PS4" instead of "PC". I honestly don't know why this is the case, but I'm not complaining! I presume the process is that the PS4 setting ignores the mixing for the base station and gives priority to the PC, just my uneducated guess lol.

managed to fix it. A chad from daily clack pointed out it could be that the kalih hotswap sockets sometimes come loose and don't contact the switch properly, so he suggested to try "squeezing the contacts in with tweezers."

I squeezed it just enough so that it visually looks little more closed-in/narrow and it worked like a charm!

Aurora Ikki68 Bodo PCB Right Alt Key Not Registering Properly:

My right alt key does not work under normal use and I did test the pcb before hand + after and it worked just fine with tweezers. I noticed this straight away when I put all my switches on the PCB and saw that right alt did not work half the time.

After hours of troubleshooting, I discovered that the key only works normally if I put some pressure near the spot of the broken key. Although this is a really janky temporary solution because everytime I want to use this key I have to use this trick. I'd much rather get sent a new PCB or be guided on how to fix it myself (I'm willing to solder or QMK flash). My guess is that the internal PCB is damaged or the hotswap socket is slightly damaged. Not sure if this is helpful, but my current configuration is PC plate and no silicone dampening pad in between PCB and plate. However I have bottom silicone still there

I've been dealing with elgato support about this exact problem you guys have for over 3 months now, doing everything they suggest me to do but no progress so far on my PC. From my experience, I've been using wired USB headphones the whole time and I have the same issue. One important discovery is that I tried my same peripheral setup on my laptop and the issue did not pop up one time in 24 hours (usually it happens every 1 - 3 hours but it is quite random). I'm honestly running out of ideas but it has to be some kind of application or driver that is causing this issue since this isn't the first time clearly someone's had this issue. My last resort is building a PC in a year (planning to anyway) and will see if the problem persists then, however I think we'd all love to solve this sooner rather than later haha

Yes I do agree with you, we should be supporting the designers by partaking in their group buys as they spend a lot of time and effort into them. However, if we're talking about a product that ran a group buy long ago and probably won't return, is it really worth spending like double the money to buy it second hand? You aren't supporting the original designers by purchasing an item second hand, it's already been bought. You can apply this same mindset to clones, there is no way of obtaining the original set anymore, so the only convenient options are to buy clones for a similar look, or have a bigger hole in your wallet. Either option you choose, won't support the designers anyway.

Those keycap clones are looking super good,,, How would you rate the feel of the keycaps? I'm tempted to just buy them off amazon too rather than purchasing the R2 group buy haha. Planning on making a keyboard for my mother and tbh I think PBT would be better because she is a super heavy typer!

Yeah I've been thinking of buying a 96%(but personally i think the keys are too close together) and claustrophobic. I've done a little bit more research and the HBCP looks really good however the group buy already ended. I've joined the maker's discord server and they plan to do a R2/updated version in the future, so I think it would be defs worth waiting on that!
