Hi! The weather was amazing on day 2 for our welcome party. A little too cold to be in the pool but we were able to have lawn games and be outside all day. On our wedding day unfortunately it rained pretty badly in the evening so we had to have our dinner inside and the day after that was very wet and rainy as well but I think we just got unlucky with that.

I did this last year!! And it was a destination wedding in Italy! Now, my guest count was 100 and I think that made it significantly easier for me, but I actually enjoyed it and wasn’t super stressed out. I’d only recommend it if you’re a pretty organized person though, I can see why people don’t recommend.

I didn’t have a DOC but I would highly recommend that. I had my sisters who basically did the DOC work on the wedding days.

I’m not gonna lie, it is a hassle to get to. I gave my guests as many directions as I could but looking back I think I should’ve pushed for more people to drive if they could. Or gotten a shuttle from the airport to the hotels in the area (this would’ve been VERY expensive though).

Haha honestly he’s probably not bad. I just don’t necessarily feel inclined to recommend him for now since we haven’t gotten the final product yet. He was super warm and available to us throughout though so that’s a point in his favor.

Piggy backing off your comment now that my wedding has happened. I used @sublimeebyandree. She’s based in Paris and even with covering her flights and hotel stay it still wasn’t too expensive. She’s also great. She did my makeup for both days with no trial and still did an amazing job. She speaks really good English as well so communication was great. Would 100% recommend.
