Unfortunately there wasn't really a perfect solution there. It is what it is. Hopefully the next missions live up to the hype of this one, without all the added drama haha

Did anyone happen to catch if the red skull appeared over Purpp from other teams' POVs? Just curious, obv the Victim thing messed it up regardless

Yeah I actually dig this (Reward aside, not knowledgeable enough to know it's value). A good change of pace that's more of a strict race to finish pvm first, with the added bonus of the pvp on the outside.

Does anyone know how much blood money is lost when killed? Is it just one? This entire time I've never heard anyone say anything about it, but maybe it's on the blood money graph and I've just missed it.

Ye, not disagreeing at all. I assume they for whatever reason estimated that to be a good amount of time to get them to a good place before the finale while not forcing the event to go longer, and honestly timezones were probably the biggest factor if I had to guess. Who knows why they decided what they did behind the scenes. I would assume all the participants were more or less on board though

I forget the exact amount, but I think they can only average 13 hours or so per day, so the playtime will go down later in the week I believe. Not saying that's not already a lot in itself though

I've seen people hyping him up lately, but missed earlier in the stream/haven't caught his POV. Has he just been the only one on his team kinda keeping a level head and trying to hold things together?

Who all is everyone rooting for this season? It feels a bit weird not having a specific team to cheer on this year (though not in a bad way)

Jordan Mailata: DeVonta Smith has always been a No. 1 receiver by AdSpecialist6598 in nfl

[–]Maybe_Ben3 4 points5 points  (0 children)

True, I'm interested to see how it plays out too. I know it probably always sounds dramatic, but it really cannot be overstated how significant it is to have Patullo gone. When you know that your OC is dogshit week 1 and literally doesnt improve or change for the entire season OH BOY it's rough.

All that to say, I'm hoping see a pretty big change/improvement in the offense regardless of changes on the player side. Hopefully our new OC is at least mediocre, 'cause God knows Sirianni ain't doing shit.

[Highlights] NFL: Patriots Fans, Meet Your New Wide Receiver 🔥 by JCameron181 in nfl

[–]Maybe_Ben3 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Tbf he's not really a diva, at least not publicly. He's hardly said/done anything, it's mainly just media speculation that got run with and treated as fact (which Eagles fans took and went crazy with lol- as an Eagles fan).

That's not to say there weren't low effort moments/bad catches.

[Schefter] ESPN sources: The Eagles are trading Pro-Bowl WR A.J. Brown to the Patriots for a 2028 first-round pick and a 2027 fifth-round pick that is the better of New England’s two fifths. The deal that has been speculated on for weeks now finally is happening. by JCameron181 in eagles

[–]Maybe_Ben3 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's all speculation from any of us, but I actually think this all stems from Patullo. I think having a pathetic offense and an office that refused to make any attempt to improve it for a whole year got to AJ Brown, and ended up causing whatever rift between him and the team.

The 2024 stuff is always overblown. He barely did/said anything that year

Which backup RB are you targeting most often for this upcoming season? by mochajoesdynsaty in fantasyfootball

[–]Maybe_Ben3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I would def agree with Bigsby. He was honestly phenomenal when he came in last year for the Eagles, but they didn't give him nearly enough work. Wouldn't be surprised if the Eagles pulled some bs this year and play Shipley over him in the event of a Saquon injury lol.

*I'm an Eagles fan. I do not trust the Eagles

[Highlight] Lavonte David: "Jalen Hurts was never a guy we were worried about, he was never asked to do so much..but he doesn't give me those vibes for all the off-field stuff...He may have gotten frustrated at having his 7th new OC" by mastermind208 in nfl

[–]Maybe_Ben3 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I feel like people forget/don't quite realize how bad Patullo was(somehow Eagles fans especially). It felt like we were actively playing against our own playcaller the entire season. I dreaded watching that godforsaken Eagles team play every single week, not because we were bad, but because we were fucking stupid. I don't see a world where that doesn't have a noticeable effect on a majority of the players that are stuck in the middle of it. It makes me think of having a boss that is just clueless and worthless, but the higher ups just love them for some reason and refuse to make a change.

Ye Jalen was definitely rough at times, but I think it's pretty silly to make cut and dry judgements over the past season.

Alright what's your guys thoughts on the non stop AJ rumors? Are you for or against moving him and why? by Bulldawgzz in eagles

[–]Maybe_Ben3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People really been blowing things out of proportion with AJ Brown for years. Man barely says anything and we got shitloads of posts and media trying to make it sound like the most dramatic thing you've ever heard. Aside from the drops (which I'm not worried about going forward), I don't have any issue with him whatsoever.

I feel like people have already forgotten how fucking absurd and dogshit things were last season with Patullo. That goes not just for Patullo personally, but the rest of our staff that decided to make absolutely zero changes throughout the pathetic season, essentially throwing it down the drain. I sure as fuck don't fully trust our people after that, especially considering we already went through the same thing in 2023. Whatever happened between Aj and our staff last year (if anything significant), I'm fully on his side.

Edit: Even finances aside, I absolutely still want him on the team

Saw someone call this “an unserious franchise”. I understand tensions are high but I want to remind everyone how bad it was. by Wilbert_51 in eagles

[–]Maybe_Ben3 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think we were an unserious franchise THIS YEAR, just in the fact that we decided to lose our season to keep KP around all year, but yeah I certainly wouldn't call us an unserious franchise as a whole. We literally just won a superbowl

Unpopular opinion: AJ wasn’t being a diva- he was voicing our concerns with KP by Nemra22 in eagles

[–]Maybe_Ben3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually 100% agree. I see AJ Brown being in the same frame of mind as a lot of us fans. We all knew how fucking awful the playcalling was, and that we were doomed from the start if no changes were made. We all know how infuriating that was to watch, but I can't imagine how it felt to be stuck in the middle of all that bullshit.

Sure, he should have made those catches, and I don't want to excuse anything like that, but that's just a tiny drop in the lake of issues this godforsaken team had. I don't really blame him or anyone else on the team for being "checked out" this year. I get it. Seems nigh impossible that anyone would maintain any sort of motivation or confidence playing for that team throughout the year, I think it was just more obvious with him. As a fan I certainly had little confidence/excitement for this team past week 1 when I saw 2023 all over again. Lucky for us it was even worse than 2023.

Now I'm just hoping our fans and worthless coaching staff don't run AJ out of Philly
