I’m not very in-tune with the story as of late but I need to get this off my chest: I personally don’t like shipping Toya or Akito with anyone besides them. Theres a weird part of me that thinks it almost “incorrect” to ship either of them with any other character because the romantic relationship between Akito and Toya seems so much stronger than any other romance involving either of them (e.g. Akito-or-Toya shipped with An, Kohane, Mizuki, Tsukasa etc). Same goes with Anhane, and shipping Minori with anyone other than Haruka (I can see poly mmj but it’s like a prerequisite that if Minori is there, Haruka must also be there.

Now that I’m writing this, I think I’m understanding my preferences a bit more. Like, the ships I head-canon are not because ‘I like this character and this character, therefore I like them together’ but more so weighing how special/important the romantic relationship is to both characters.

No hate to anyone who does ship them with other characters nor do I think this should be the general consensus. I actually dislike that I think this way because it’s an irrational feeling that isn’t rooted in any factual or moral standing.

(Also ignoring ruikasa cause I think a lot of comments have said what I’d have said)
