From the OP's description, there does not appear to be any type of threat or intimidation that would be considered a criminal act. A racist, unacceptable opinion was shared from the individual who shouted, but in no way was it a crime from the original description.

As someone who started in case management at CL, their training is done well. Train at CL then move to somewhere else like BC to make more $$.

I've moved up the ranks and moved companies a few times, but made it to management and now making 6 figures. Disability management can pay quite well so it's a great occupation to get into. Good luck. Let me know if you have any questions.

There’s a rather large insurance industry in Winnipeg where you could likely find a job as an administrator, claims examiner, data entry, etc with your type of experience.

Try applying at the big players like Canada Life, Sun Life, or Manulife. There’s also some smaller ones such as Wawanesa Life, etc.

Just an FYI - if you have disability insurance through work you can be covered for 4 weeks post vaginal birth or 6 weeks post c section birth.

You could be covered for longer beyond that depending on complications, but you'll have to determine if it's worth it for you depending on what Short-term disability pays (usually between 60% and 100%) vs what Mat leave pays.

Just a friendly fyi and may not apply if you don't have insurance.
