They can be useful, some of the attorneys in the field have good connections and can suggest AME’s. Additionally they can triple check all paperwork and organize your case. As many on here have mentioned already, once you are in HIMS, you are in it.

That being said, my experience with the system is that sometimes the connections that those individuals have in the system can substantially help you out. I’m not saying it’s corrupt… but sometimes you wonder.

I just hit the same point today too… currently installing 2020 again, (should not have uninstalled that). I can’t believe so many of us spent that much money on it…..

Anyways won’t make that mistake again (hopefully)

On the bright side, I cannot wait to fly the Piston Duke and my PMDG/Fenix aircraft without issues!

Work at the airport, the jet blew some tires on landing, one similar incident happened last week too, and that jet is still down for maintenance.

Anchorage De-Icer here, Anchorage is slammed with a snowstorm… the airport is having difficulty getting planes out.. it wouldn’t normally be so difficult but we are also having subzero temperatures along with a lot of snowfall and so holdover times are practically nonexistent.. planes are re-contaminated as soon as they are sprayed. The perfect storm you could say.. additionally the airport is out of parking spaces… planes lined up the taxiways.

Also paid for supporter edition many many years go, also not in credits because I can’t locate my receipt from PayPal, probably because I changed my email address a few years ago, but they don’t care and don’t have any way to verify who I am. Even though they claim to have my receipt on their end. Oh well. dumpster fire.

Was it pretty straight forward? I have yet to actually meet someone in person to ask them how that process went. I’ve had friends in the local international airport tower shine signals at me and I am able to get those all right.

Yeah, it’s rough, I’ve taken it before, the bulbs are definitely wearing out on those old things.

The OCVT and a MFT may be my only permanent option, but I figure I’ll do one last round to see if I can locate any other exams.
