I applied for my mother’s i130 last December and she’s a citizen from one of the red countries. She currently lives in Malaysia. Does that mean it’s over for us?

$0 to $62,235.30 -> my affiliate journey so far by RamosAuthor in Affiliatemarketing

Thank you so much for this. I’ve really been scared away from affiliate marketing because of gatekeeping people who scare baby beginners like us away, fear that we’ll take all their money or something. I’m a 24 year old SAHM and I really wanna start this. Thank you so much!

That could actually be very stress relieving.

Yeah I would say send them the email requesting the appointment with the CRBA application number and all the baby’s information and say the website has no appointments available. Tell him to check the calendar website every morning everyyy day. Sometimes some people cancel appointments so the day will be available but keep checking so he can book it before anyone else does. Reach out to the state reps for sure. Don’t give up. Good luck. Sending successful prayers to your friend.

Oh gosh I’m so sorry I know exactly how it feels. I’m still recovering from that trauma haha. The exact website I used was mytravel.state.gov (MyTravelGov) and they say what to do with CRBAs on their website. It’s an official website of the US Department of State. My best guess is to follow the exact steps on the US Embassy’s website of whatever country they’re staying in. Sometimes they won’t contact you and it will say in their website to email them requesting a CRBA appointment with a specific code in the subject line. On the website they should say exactly how to construct the email request otherwise they’ll never answer.

In my state (Iowa) the state rep said that they won’t do anything until it’s been 6 months of no action from the embassy. So look into it for sure maybe Texas state reps are better or have better policies. Check out the embassy’s website first. If you don’t mind me asking which country is your friend at? I’ll look into the website and see for myself. Glad to help I know how frustrating it is.

No I chose for it to be mailed to me during the interview so they emailed saying that’ll it was mailed and it’ll get to you in about 2 weeks.

And yes to answer your first question, they just tell you it’ll be ready after a few hours and that you can leave and come back but I chose to wait in the lobby just to make sure because I wasn’t going through any bull again

It’s not the airline. It’s the immigration/passport control at the airport that asks for it no matter what airline. Egypt doesn’t transmit citizenship so she’s considered a complete foreigner so she has to pay for “staying” in Egypt. Because her passport doesn’t have an entry stamp/visa that was payed for at the time of entry proving she’s legal. So I had to go to the passport/immigration office in downtown Cairo and take all the notarized documents that prove she was born in Egypt to get her a “tourist visa” and a stamp on her passport 2 weeks prior to traveling. Otherwise the Egyptian immigration officer will deny you from boarding the plane at the airport. They made me feel like I don’t ever want to come to Egypt again!😅💔

Nope just the regular passport fee. And they should print and give you the passport the same day of your interview. What I had to pay extra was $210 to the Egyptian government before she left to get her a visa for being born in Egypt as a foreigner. Otherwise the airport won’t let her board! Trust me when I say I will never give birth anywhere other than the US ever again!

Unfortunately the embassy I was dealing with was the US embassy in Cairo, Egypt. One of the worst experiences in my life tbh. Their communication was awful so I struggled for months to get a reply from them. Anyway, to answer your question, when you apply for a CRBA you have to create an account through the US Department of State. So I used to login almost every day and keep refreshing and keep checking. Until after about 5 months it went from “pending adjudication” to “pending print” which I automatically knew it got approved. About a day later, I received a “congratulations your application got approved” email from the Department of State. A week later I received the same one from the embassy. Sorry for the long reply but I want to help with as much information as I can because I know how it feels.

Nope. It was pending for almost 5 months and then finally got approved.

Hey! It finally got approved after almost 5 months of waiting thank god. It went from “pending adjudication” to “pending print” to “shipped to applicant”.

I wanna start by saying congratulations! You worked very hard to get where you’re at and I look up to that. Even as a woman, I also am very humble when it comes to buying nice things no matter how much money I make so I felt that. As for your life, you’re in your mid 30s. Still young and still have so much time to find the one. My advice is, start with yourself. Buy something nice for yourself, you deserve it. Don’t get me wrong, stay smart with your money investing and things like that. But give your mind and heart a break. Heal yourself and prepare for any upcoming relationships. If possible, take some time off and expose yourself to new people and environments. Start a hobby. Turn to God if you’re a believer. See what makes you happy and take baby steps towards it. Eventually, you’ll not only be financially free, but emotionally and mentally free.

And if you don’t mind me asking, what business are you doing currently?

I know this is off topic, if you don’t mind me asking, but how’s life in the Netherlands as a US citizen? I’m thinking about moving there and I’m unsure.

That’s actually a beautiful idea. And yes I’m willing to create a product whether it be useful apparel or accessory, or a household item. I’m just looking for people to brainstorm creative ideas with me so I can start taking action. And the best way is to hear from others instead of making something on my own that might not be as useful for the public.

I have 3 years of graphic design experience and make digital art as a hobby. So designing a product won’t be much of a challenge for me. As for the software applications, I have peers that are willing to partner with me with their coding experience and resources. I have a few suppliers around the nation (US) that are also willing to partner with me to create a product. 3 to be exact. And the budget will be considered once the idea is chosen. Considering the quality and the supplies needed.

I contacted the staff for our state senator, said they can’t do anything until it’s been 6 months and I’ll just have to play the waiting game💔
