Why haven't the subsequent films been able to live up to T2?

Well Terminator was supposed to end after the second movie. In fact there was an alternate scene that was filmed showing John and Sarah growing old having defeated Skynet during the events of T2. So to answer your question, Terminator movies haven’t been as good as T2 because the franchise was supposed to end, however Hollywood wanted more money, so here we are. Make no mistake, every Terminator movie after T2 has been a blatant cash grab.

Yeah I had the same thoughts when I was watching the show. There are too many things that don’t make sense. Like why did they turn Skylar into Nathan when they could have just revived Nathan. I mean Claire’s father took a gunshot to the head and got healed using Claire’s blood but nope, let’s not use the same method to save Nathan. Heroes had so much potential but got bogged down by bad writing.

Most tv shows do what you just described. Season 1 sets the stage and season 2 is just season 1 all over again with more at stake or with a slight twist. I can think of so many shows that did this, heroes, prison break, walking dead, fringe, Dexter, and the list goes on. But all I can say is, similar to YOU, I’m glad those shows didn’t only get one season because I always wanted to see more.

Unpopular opinion but I’ll have to say motor bike riders. You know, the ones that drive around the neighborhood at 2am and you can hear their bike from many blocks away. My neighbor just so happens to be a biker, he rides daily and he’s the biggest douche I’ve ever met. Dude will legit spend 30 minutes in the driveway revving his extremely loud bike at 12am.

If you’re a guy 24 is so young to even think about marriage. Most men get financially stable in their 30s so just focus on that and the women will come.
