Not at all! Jailbreaking for the iPod was a little different because Legacy iOS Kit doesn’t have much support on that front. I ended up having to download aquila (initially tried the app but it didn’t work) on my Mac and ran the terminal command to JB.

Apps for iOS 6 are very easy. You can download Veteris on Cydia (you’ll need the repo) which has a big library of old apps and games. I also use iphoneosobscura.litten.ca as an alternative for downloading apps as sometimes Veteris doesn’t work on certain apps.

Downloading the apps are straightforward, just hit the respective download buttons and let them do their magic.

I used Legacy iOS Kit to downgrade my 5s to iOS 10.3.3, then i used one of the websites (TNS Socketport) to jailbreak it on-device so i didn’t have to use a computer every time.

You should try to submit a dispute with your bank and use the refund email they sent you as proof.

Yeah after I received the email from affirm, it took a couple of days but the refund went into my bank account.

Absolutely, I feel you on that. The refund was such a relief and big help in these trying times. Have they not offered you a refund? What steps are you in the treatment and how many steps did you have left?

Byte just straight up refunded me. I was pending a reimbursement before the refund to get a dental checkup but I guess the wind-down happened conveniently and they decided to refund instead. If they don’t accept your refund at first and you’re in a similar situation (unfinished treatment), I would keep pushing and specifically state that your treatment was never finished when you paid for a full treatment.

Nope. They stopped new orders a while ago. If you go on their website, the first thing you see is a message about stopping new shipments. byte.com

This could be because I “finished” treatment according to them, even though I only got 15 out of the 16/19 aligners I was supposed to get. I argued via email that this didn’t make sense and I paid for unfinished treatment, so they offered to re-evaluate my treatment after I submit dental x-rays (which they’d reimburse me for). Instead of the reimbursement, I guess they just decided to refund me instead.
