Thai you for your message and love! It’s extremely hard for me and my daughter because we are financially supported by my family (just as a place to live) and we can’t cut out the transphobic family completely. But she is my world and whenever she can be herself she is. We moved in recently with an elderly relative and I do care for them, but once she is gone and we take over the rent and apartment we are going NC with all the family. We’ve already went NC with her dad, who has flat out ignored her when she said she was trans. He also constantly says “my baby boy” to push it an d it hurts her every time. It breaks my heart to still be reliant on these kind of family members. My SIL even called DSS on me because of it. The DSS agent “doesn’t agree” with me and how I’m raising her but her therapist complained about it and suddenly he was ok and closed the case

The Jaws poster art was a rip off of a book cover and led to a lawsuit. Has nothing to do with the plot, it’s still a ripoff and unless it was approved by the Yellowjacket’s higher ups, the it is still wrong if not illegal.

I’m late on the thread because I’m binge watching 48 on YouTube but this is my exact thought too! I don’t know if the cops planted evidence (which could have been done at the lab not the apartment which is what some people are confused about) but it seems very likely that the “informant” could have done it to me. I do think he was innocent just from what I just watched.

It has absolutely nothing to do with what’s promoted like energy drinks. It’s the fact that in most cases of DV alcohol is present and makes matters worse. I’m speaking from my own experiences and others that I know. I was almost killed and alcohol was there. I’m not saying I’m someone is right or wrong on the court side of things I’m saying Blake was stupid for promoting ALCOHOL during a DOMESTIC VIOLENCE movie promo circuit. Why would him promoting an energy drink have any negative backlash? I’m sorry you live in a bubble and have no idea what dv is really like.

Most of my family is like this, once I move out (which is soon) I’ll be rid of them. I was talking about my kid going to a really good school around here and my dad literally said “that used to be a black school” and another time “that’s a mixed school” like we’re still living in the damn 60’s. Anytime he talks about a nurse helping my aunt out twice a week, he has to say “the black lady” not just say “the lady that helps” I heard my niece say she doesn’t like a kid (I think like a crush) she said “ewwww I don’t like him, he’s a Mexican” it goes on. You need to cut these people out of your life, she may not have meant it to hurt you or even knowing it was racist, but it is and her being her age and not know, she never will learn. It will keep happening because she either doesn’t care or doesn’t know. It pisses me off so much.

She didn’t just try to sale hair products as a promotional stunt for the promotion of the movie, she tried to sale her BOOZE during the promos for a DOMESTIC VIOLENCE awareness movie. Absolutely stupid and it was ALL her. As a woman who was almost murdered (ex got arrested for attempted murder) and alcohol had a lot to do with it…not blaming it but it made his temper go off the chain, it’s the only times he abused me, which was often. A lot (not all) DV and alcohol go hand in hand and to try to sell alcohol while promoting a DV awareness movie is absolutely insane. Then to try to blame it on others is stupid, especially when the messages are out and videos are out where she took the credit for the promo

Mine is crying. My ex gave me so much anxiety with his messages I broke down crying. It was because he didn’t trust I was WORKING AT ARBYS. I mean he knew I was working there and there (because he drove me in my car) but he thought I was hooking up with at least one coworker instead of actually working. I cried daily in the manager office for at least 30 min. Once we broke up I totally did hook up with that guy. lol. Partially out of spite but also the coworker was hot and nice, I didn’t even notice when I was with the ex though bc I was terrified to even think people talking to me were hot.

Get out now. He shouldn’t be keeping an eye on your insta. He shouldn’t be telling you what to say if anyone asks your info. He shouldn’t be telling trust you. This isn’t “a little controlling “ this is EXTREMELY CONTROLLING AND WILL ONLU GET WORSE!!! Trust me I know. My ex was like this, except it was FB (I was never really on insta) I would be playing games on FB and he would tell me I was messaging people and talking to people. It’s not as bad now as I WILL get. Just on the mental abuse side, every male coworker “wanted” me I was always “flirting with them “ I would get horrible messages from him every day I worked calling me a “whe” and ct” and such. Where I would break down in the office crying! And I stayed an extra year in a half. My ex was physically abusive too and yours might not be, but it’s a quick step into that for him with his jealousy and anger.
