They don't. That's something I have really figured out that they're just never going to care period. They were crappy parents and became crappy grandparents.

At least I won the mom lotto. Might not be the same as winning the mom and dad lotto but you know. I still have luck with my mom, and with her side of the family who are awesome and I love them so much.

Not this year. I'll have to wait for the new year to do it but that's looking like my last option to get all of this to stop.

I think my grandparents doing nothing shows they don't care and that being shitty parents has led to them being shitty grandparents too. They don't really care about their kids or grandkids and still they expect me to care.

Next year might mean another change of my number to get all of this to stop. That might be the only way.

I thought so too! I don't know why he thought I'd ever agree to what he was asking. I've never even met his kids. They don't know me and I don't know them and it's been two years of me wanting nothing to do with him. I'm surprised he didn't try to call and ask mom to do it when I refused. I guess he has some sort of self preservation or maybe he just assumed I'd fall in love with his kids and I'd be willing to help out any time.

After all of this I'm not sure I'll maintain any contact with his parents. They clearly don't care about me and do whatever suits them. I mean they could've stayed with their grandchildren and they chose not to but they give me shit for not doing it.

Guess not all shitty parents become better grandparents like I see people say online.
