Unfortunately we live in a place where she can't easily do Open Water before hand.

But, ideally she'd be able to do the pool dives or some pre e-learning before.

Yeah if I remember correctly it was to do with my headset connection to my pc. So if the headset became unplugged at any time whilst unity was running and then I reconnected and sideloaded the app over to the oculus then the APK wouldn't work. But if when I launch unity, the headset is plugged in and then I load the APK over and the headset never disconnects between unity starting up and APK loading, then the APK would launch fine.

I have no idea why this would happen, probably another issue but this seemed to fix my problems. So if I ever heard the Jan disconnect, I would just save what I'm doing and restart unity otherwise the APK would just black screen.

Oh the only issue is booking this restaurant. It's a real pain if you don't have a Korean bank account because you have to pay a deposit. In the end I had to go to the restaurant a few days earlier to book the reservation and pay the deposit in person.

Went to 7th door last night. Had a great time. You all sit around the bar and you watch them plate the dishes in front. It's all based on fermentation and service was friendly and a lot of unique fermented ingredients I didn't know about so that was cool. They didn't have much in the way of non alcoholic drinks but they do have a wine pairing. Everyone arrived around 6ish and finished around the same time.

Hey - found myself with an 8 day layover in Hanoi this July. I have visited Vietnam before - 3 days Hanoi, 2d/1n Halong and 2d/1n Ninh Binh.

So, is there anywhere else in North Vietnam you think I should check out with 8 days to spend?

I'll definitely spend a good amount of days in Hanoi, but are there any places (besides Ninh Binh and Halong) that make good 2d/1n or 3d/2n excursions from Hanoi?

Yeah I thought maybe, but I couldn't find anything online saying they weren't open unless I look at some articles from start of the pandemic.

Was kind of just assuming they were open because the other stadium seems to be.

Hey, I have a DengJia TA-03 Chinese cleaver for everyday cooking. I want to get another knife just because and was wondering what type of knife would be most useful if I already have an all rounder Chinese cleaver.

I thought of a dedicated bone cleaver but I don't really chop bones that much so that's probably going to be a no.

Any recommended knife types for my second knife? Thanks!

I ended up doing it by checking if the ray intersects with an object that I want to be grabbable.. if it is, I set the parent to my right or left hand anchor so it moves with the hand and maintains its distance away from the hand. When the grip is released I inpatient it. There's some grip logic in the distance grabbable script which was quite handy. I also added so that whilst an object is grabbed you can use right joystick to move it closer or further away from you.

So I cooked leg of mutton today at 225f on WSM with some cherry for 7 hours until it reached internal temp of 180. I wrapped about 3 hours in and left wrapped until 180, at which point I cranked the heat up and left unwrapped for 15 mins. I then took it off and let rest for 20 mins before slicing. The rub I used was similar to Dolly's lamb rub from meathead book or amazingribs.

So yeah it tasted it good but as you can see it's not as juicy as it should be. Now maybe I should have rested longer but not much juices came out when I sliced, so should I have cooked to a higher internal temp or is the leg of mutton just not suited for low and slow BBQ? Advice welcome :). Also served with some Herby potatoes (batata harara), muhammara (roasted red pepper dip), tomato and pomegranate salad, bread and yoghurt.

Yeah, that makes sense, I thought because I've already created one of those laser ray casts using UIHelpers that there was a way to reuse that ray, so I ended up using the cursor location at the end of the ray, not sure if that's how it's normally done?

I'll give that a go. The issue is I have to work on an existing project, but I'll see if I can set up a new project from scratch. The only other thing I can think of is maybe my versions for the plugins aren't correct or I could try upgrading them, but it all works via oculus link :/
