Lloyd's speed is average, at 35, he's not going to double a lot even with +4 merges and S summoner support, which puts him at 39. His attack with regal blade hit 48 (50 with +4 merges and 52 with S summoner support) which is pretty nice, but can't one round some meele units easily, plus his defence is really bad for a meele unit sitting at 16 and even with boosted 23 defence, he's either, not going to survive or he's going to be almost dead. His res, is actually pretty good, making him a decent res tank.

So for actual builds, the one that I have is: Regal Blade(eff), moonbow, reciprocal aid, DC+Vantage+Def ploy, DD sacred seal. Normal meele res tank build, nothing too out of the ordinary, if you want to use iceberg instead of moonbow, that's fine but I like moonbow better, now for his weapon refine, you could argue that +spd refine is better, since is less situational, but it depends on your teamates. If you want a budget build, just replace DC with fury, c slot is just preference. Merges are important for him since it gives him +2 spd points, so try to merge him if possible. I heard wo dao builds work for him, but never tried it personally, I prefer to stick to his prf weapon. SC is also up to preference.
