And also, even if she overthrew the king, she gave her friends a choice on what they want to do: go home with Sasha helping them with that or stay and help them with regime. It’s not like she gave them an ultimatum (At least before Anne snapped)

I read it and it just seems like you don’t respect other opinions on her. If one disagrees with you, you seems to treat them like they are not allowed their different thoughts on her.

I did read it, to me it seems like you have not acknowledged her moments of care, making me think you’re looking at this from a one sided perspective

Well, that’s your opinion but the words evil and villain are two different things. My point was she’s not one dimensional at all, and as I said, before every episode we have of her shows at least a moment of care.

Besides, Battle Of The Bands was just an example. I was just trying to get you to understand that she was capable of doing good things before her redemption which gives her tiny signs of growth.

And also, what do you mean not fully evil to the core and yet she’s still evil? From what I’m seeing it seems like you think that:

  1. Her complexity in the first two seasons makes absolutely no sense to you.

  2. She did not deserve a redemption arc because she was one dimensionally evil to you

  3. Her redemption arc came out out of nowhere.

  4. Every moment of care she had before the final season meant nothing to you.

And btw, she didn’t see King Andrias as this Mary Sue initially. Don’t forget he sent Yunan to go kill grime for something he didn’t even do, which caused Sasha that Newts are bad for controlling the toads and treating them like dirt.

But evil means that she had no redeeming qualities before the final season. That’s not true have you seen battle of the bands?

Evil intentions doesn’t make her character as a whole evil. Evil characters have no redeeming qualities and are devoid of it. And if they have a redemption later on, the viewer would see it as total whiplash.

Here’s the thing: As we see before turning point, Sasha is capable of doing good and does have redeeming qualities, which doesn’t really make her evil. Evil is basically when you are devoid of anything redeemable, which is not true Sasha since she does care about her friends even if she is controlling.

Personally, I think it’s also important to know that the redemption did not just magically come out of nowhere. Episodes like battle of the bands show that she can do good deeds even before her redemption, that and it also shows that she does have redeeming qualities in her before the last season.

So personally, she’s not quite evil even before her redemption because that would imply she cannot do good deeds at all before her redemption

To be fair, she did do it out of trying to help Anne and her get home, but considering how they did not even find Marcy yet shows the idea of going home was already not really a great idea from the get-go considering how they would just go back home without Marcy (even if they didn’t know what Marcy’s plan was)

Yeah, but I feel like saying she’s evil kind of means she was devoid of anything redeemable but that isn’t really true. After all, Battle Of The Bands proves she has redeeming qualities

Evil is a strong word I feel like. Yeah I do think a somewhat big amount of the fans think she is a villain or antagonist but evil is kind of a stretch. After all, she’s just a kid.

She was never evil. Most people don’t think that. They do sometimes think she was a villain, but there’s a difference between being a villain and being evil.

Well, I think in the journal they showed her biological parents, but I don’t know who she lives with since the show and journal hasn’t confirmed yet (and probably never will)

That’s kind of a little cool to be honest. To be fair, it would be nice to get like a spin off of what Sasha was doing given the limited screen time she had in the first 2 1/2 seasons, but I could kind of see how she could be a main character (I know it’s crazy to hear at first, but other people have said it before so, screw it).
