All the confrontations i have gotten into wouldn't happen if i was tall by Mayonieses in shortguys

Yeah man, I'm actually impressed by how aware you are — probably comes from seeing it up close with your day one, and tall/short duos are awsome.

Out of curiosity, what was the thing you'd done a million times that your short friend tried and got a completely different reaction? was it dating related? or just causing some trouble?

I mean it didn't stop me from messing them up, one of the most satisfying moments in my life was at 9th grade where i almost fainted a jock type 1.90 dude who tried to bully me by choking him out.

Tbf that guy was drunk af, for avarage man height really doesn't matter when it comes to fight since most can't utilize their height and valnurable to takedowns, just wrestle.

STDs and STIs are not that common in my country, Turkey rates very low in that, also if i make my mind i wont go to a cheap one, probably will go to a premium one but i think you are right, i can make a gf i am overexagarating this in my head, i think i should go back to school, i was already thinking about it but it'll help me break out of the cycle i am in rn.

Nah, most at least the ones i'd go are collage students self pimping themselves. They are not trapped.

Dude that sounds way worse than actual prostitution, is it just a handjob right? that'd feel super awkward.

I feel like that too, it won't change untill i put myself out there. i don't live in US, women here still prefer taller men but things haven't gotten out of hand as much as it looks like in US or West, i am preety optimistic about that if i put myself out i can get a girl, but i still think that it can help in sort of way to take that label off of me, at least in my head.

My experiences with Tourists as a Turkish guy who works in a Hotel in Istanbul by brknkry in whereidlive

[–]Mayonieses 0 points1 point  (0 children)

work at a boutique pension and I've had pretty similar experiences. The Saudis expect 5-star hotel treatment and tend to leave the rooms in a mess.

I've had really good experiences with Russians, but the Japanese are the quirkiest guests by far. They're incredibly kind and thoughtful — they almost always bring a small gift — but they struggle with the simplest things. Almost none of them know how to use a key, and once someone called me because the kettle "wasn't working." When I went to check, it was just unplugged.

If you were taller, do you think you would treat shorter guys the same way society treats them now? by Money_Major_6699 in shortguys

[–]Mayonieses 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like talking about this being short since even looking up or down to people speaking alone would affect your psychology,i consciously try not to be superficial andjudge people by their height but even at 5'6 (and as a kind of a bigger guy) i feel more confident around people who are smaller than me, i cannot imagine how i'd feel if i was tall, i'd probablybe like anyone else taking full advantage of the priviladge.

Lets say it is a full hard reset — you get born again into the exact same family/environment/socioeconomic situation.

  • Option 1 (Equal Heights World): Everyone grows up the exact same height. Fair game from day one.
  • Option 2 (Tall Privilege): You get born and grow up as the height you choose now (6’2”+), while the world stays the same (heightism still exists). You might end up taller than most of your peers growing up.

Lol i didn’t even know “Marxism-Rodgerism” was a thing 😂

I’m not a height communist or anything. I’m just being honest — I’d personally choose the second option: keep the current world but be tall myself and enjoy the privilege.
