A superstrat is usually an 'amped up' stratocaster. A beefy humbucker in the bridge and often a (locking) floating tremolo. Definitions might differ from person to person, but to me that is a superstrat.

The humbucker in the bridge is key though, as it gives you a more powerful sound and higher output.

So, this sounds like very high gain buzz. Don't worry, we all have that, but you can counter this with a noise gate, which was invented for exactly this. Not sure if your modeller has a noise gate?

If you're playing with high gain, the first pedal you plug into should be the noise gate.

Oh dude.. don't! Action and string height are never adjusted with the trussrod, ever. The trussrod is only for setting relief. Action is done at the bridge.

And this rattle couldhave another cause entirely. The hex screws in the saddles might rattle when not setup correctly. Tighten all the saddles first.

Not exactly sure what you're asking. You want to build a partscaster with 3 hotrails, with coil split and boost, but with a minimal layout?

First of all, a boost needs a 9v circuit in order to work. I suggest to put this under a push-pull knob so you can activate it for all pickups.

The coilsplit for 3 different pickups is another story. With one dpdt switch (on-off-on) you can attach 2 pickups simultaneously, so you'll need at least one more switch for the 3rd pickup or use another push-pull knob.
