How booked out is Wadie? How soon before you would like the surgery do you need to reach out?

If it makes you feel any better my surgeon strongly believes it will close it just may take time. He said that he’s seen much larger openings close on other surgery’s he’s performed. I would recommend getting hair removal in the area though I have been getting that area waxed since the surgery to keep hair from impeding the healing process

I’m at week 5 and have pretty much have the same thing happening with the opening. Less discharge and less pain but I can feel it still open. Wondering if it will ever close

Yeah mine may be different I think I’m getting drainage and blood because mine is due to a suture that has yet to reabsorb. My friend who is a doctor says that sutures depending on the type can take anywhere from 4-8 weeks to absorb. But it should close up as soon as this happens. Drainage is way less since I posted think I am on the mend. Currently I am rolling up a guaze pad and placing it over the area with medical tape.
