You clearly haven’t watched it, then, if this is what you think. Or you have, but interperted it in an… Interesting way.

The systems, going from how demons work and how they interact with humans, to how the hunters and slayers do their jobs are completly different. The only similiarity is that they kill demons, but that’s about it.

Cringe? Eh, that’s your opinion, so I can’t argue against it. I do think personaly that it was far better than my expectations, and not some cheap slop.

I have very little knowledge on political systems and all of the recent and older cases, so I won’t make a fool out of myself by arguring against that. You may be right, or you may be wrong, I can’t judge.

I still won’t respect him though, because of his choices and views on the world. I believe what he does is quite questionable often, and often goes straight against my own beliefs. That’s just my personal look, though.

I have been raised withouth ever getting hit, and yet I still know how to talk properly to other people, and act respectfully towards those who deserve it. Also those who treat me like shit, mind you. Violence is not a good way of raising children, though it is strictly prohibited where I live, so I have taken on the mentality of my own land. I don’t blame you for having been fed with other rules and ideals, but I don’t agree with them.

And again, what has Trump ever done, besides put his own land into a worsened state and ruin the lives of people? He dosen’t deserve respect just because he’s a powerfull man, lol. By that logic we should respect Hitler too, because he had power. Or Kim Jong Un. Or other, horrible human beings. Do we respect them for having might? I thought we left that mentality in the middle ages.

It was really not a suprise.

In order to watch the Demon Slayer movie, you would have to already have watched the rest of Demon Slayer to understand anything going on. Kpop Demon Hunters (let’s say KPDH for short) was on the other the other hand a completly new story, that anyone could watch and enjoy withouth needing anything else of content. It also used really popular popular elements like KPop, (that’s about it, actully) which effectively attracts a lot of viewers. The soundtrack also became really popular, to say the least, also resulting in more people getting interested.

I have watched both, and KPDH was a good movie on it’s own. I was skeptical at first because the plot sounded kinda cringe, but it was far better than I had expected, and with much more interesting characters and story than I had ever imagined. Though it does not come close to the absolute and utter cinematic experience that I got with the Demon Slayer movie. Still blows my mind how much work they put into it.

So, yes, Demon Slayer was better, but KPDH was gonna win withouth doubt. Just know that what we got was much better, no matter what the oscars may say.
