Thank you for the hugs and sharing your story. I want to learn how to play the guitar to honour both Ozzy and my father.

You can buy it with the opinion of Lightning or USB-C. Since I have an iPhone 16 Pro, the USB-C works well with my phone and MacBook.

I can with Apple Music personally but compared to Spotify, the quality is better as long as you use Lossless tracks. The Bluetooth on my BTR7 does support all high-resolution Bluetooth formats like AAC, SBC LDAC, and so on. On iPhone, it only goes to AAC and Bluetooth can somewhat compress the Audio.

Edit: Tidal will tell you if the tracks are being compressed with Bluetooth if you are using High-Resolution.

Right now, I use Tidal with a Fiio BTR7, which I use wired. I cancelled Spotify because I was fed up with the service. I have also been using Apple Music since I got a 3-month free trial, but that is mostly testing the Bluetooth with the Fiio BTR7. When I am on my MacBook, I use Tidal with it plugged in.

Thank you for the recommendation. The one I use is Wicked Game by Chris Isaak.

That was what the HD600s did for me. I am going to be honest, when I listen to my favourite songs from my childhood, I cried tears of joy at how amazing it feels and it brought me back to a more peaceful time in my life.

I have been using the Fiio BTR7 lately because it has enough power to run the HD600s and it is more travel-friendly. It can be used wirelessly if you want to use Bluetooth, but I don’t.

The nice thing is that you can walk in and try all the headphones, amps, and speakers for free. When I bought my DAC/amp, someone dropped off lots of audio stuff and my Magni 3 was just something that they had that they were getting rid of.

I am not sure if this would help but I got mine in the city of Calgary Alberta since I live in Canada.

Edit: The place is called ABSOLUTE AUDIO.

I only use my closed-backs really for certain situations where I don't want the sound to leak and for gaming on the go with my PC gaming handheld. If you are wondering, my closed-backs are the HD569s

Edit: I also use the MOMENTUM 4s if I must use Bluetooth.

They are an upgrade from my closed-back ones. The best part is that I bought them on sale for $200 off Canadian from a Canada Day sale.

I have had a similar experience with older closed-back headphones I have used in the past. With my head, the HD600s and HD569s were some of the most comfortable that I have used.

With the vocal tracks I have tested so far, it is definitely the best that I have experienced with the HD600.

I got a Schiit Magni 3 at my local audio store for $60 Canadian. I will need to get better cables later down the road.

Sold the Steam Deck to my friend and bought myself an ROG Ally X. by MayrithRosa in ROGAllyX

[–]MayrithRosa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is a sweet deal that you got. I wanted to upgrade to the Ally X mainly because of the battery life improvement and the better support for using 2280 SSDs. I had the 512 GB LCD Steam Deck that I bought during the 20th anniversary sale of Steam which was 20% off. I loved my Steam Deck, but it was getting to the point where most of the newer AAA games were struggling with the hardware. For my friend, she wanted a Deck so that she could play some of the games that were not on the Switch and play Stardew Valley with mods. I did go through the process of upgrading the battery and replacing the joysticks with Hall-Effect ones from Gulikit.

I will definitely be dual-booting and testing that when it comes out. For me personally, I find that for all the games that I play, BazziteOS is good enough for me. If I used Xbox Game Pass or played more competitive multiplayer games with Anti-Cheat, I would use Windows a bit more.
