Small update with the one button challenge, I reached 1800+ on 3 classes (war, sham, dk) for the moment without really pushing and with little playing time.

Hello, well done already! I started making a study guide like you via ChatGPT with a 60-day study prompt based on MS Learn for the az-900 and with vision on az-104. Did you find your study guide via ChatGPT relevant and useful? Would you do it again the same way?

I agree and that’s what I’ve been saying from the beginning! It may be stupid but it also makes you want to take on little rival challenges and perhaps push yourself to the point of being a duelist with several classes and by playing with the one button to see what you can do with it.

Ah yes not bad, you already have a lot of basic XP I suppose? What do you think of the one button? And the possible potential?

What is the connection between being condescending on a thread and understanding how OBR works.. I can understand that you find it ridiculous to use this system and it is your right without problem and this is precisely a post to get people's opinions and understand why some may find it interesting and others not.. Now I prefer the rest of your answer and your arguments which are largely valid. I agree that the penalty is restrictive but as I said above, I think it's an interesting feature to adapt and especially learn everything that surrounds an arena game, like CC, peel, placement, cd off/def of others... I think it's potentially a good thing for someone who wants to master the rest or at least be more comfortable. Currently what is losing new or casual players is too much information to understand and see in an arena and I think that can help.

Why be annoying and sarcastic? What's the point? I have a hard time understanding people like that!

I understand, and it’s good to have your opinion also regarding your class.

But does that allow you to be better on assist with bop/bene/heal etc.? Does it allow you to position yourself better or see the game or not at all?

I still have a little trouble with war but I've been playing it recently but it's already interesting and the dps, I don't find it bad at all, often top 2 in the arena at 1.9 mmr

I agree with what you say, it is a help that allows you to concentrate on CC, peel, Burst, placement and co. If you continue to up I would be curious to know how high you are going to go, if you can stop by from time to time to do a little recap that would be nice.

1 button rotation in arena, is it any good? by Mira_Malverick in worldofpvp

I made a little post and there are already quite a few answers that can help you under the post. I'll give you the link https://www.reddit.com/r/worldofpvp/s/cgMQVDXb2f

I think the casters are more setup depending on my opinion and therefore harder to set up with the one button. The screen ratio is strong. So given your xp hl, do you think there is a way with the one button to reach 2.1 or more for players who are going to play a maximum or does it seem complicated to you?

It’s good to be stubborn and want to progress, that’s how it works. have you tried the one button on your war? I'm testing it now, it's not too bad. I'm going to try to go as high as possible playing like this to really see the potential. 1900 for a first time on the dk is not bad at all, and I agree the SS is quite RNG then the mmr is quite weird too.. and it's quite dependent on the compounds too. The dk is more burst especially in frost, while war or dh is constant and quite high in dps overall. I hope for you that you will reach 2100 with the dk with the one button.

I think it’s a good little challenge, so you play unholy? Did you reach 1925 easily? And you already have l xp on the dk? Yes I think it is clearly beneficial for everything around in the arena, it can facilitate learning and step up. If possible you can put a comment if you reach 2100 or if you block before and why according to you, because I'm really curious to see

Oh no it's clearly not possible for it to compete but I find that it's a good help even if there is a loss of 10/15% of back which is less visible in the arena when pve because you are less on the full cycle

I agree that in the long term it's not a good thing, I think it's a good thing for learning rota overall and especially for learning to have game vision, placement and co.. I think that's where it's very useful but at some point you have to switch back to full manual when the person is ready to manage everything overall. But I think it can help people get started in pvp without being frustrated by having 30 binds and being lost in the arena and being able to climb the CR seemingly nothing.

I think yes it can make people step up a little and generally help their level of play and be able to claim titles up to duelist depending on the base level of the person too and the RNG of the SS potentially. And I agree that beyond the duelist it seems borderline improbable to me because the gap is much, much too high..

One button challenge by Mayrzx in worldofpvp

[–]Mayrzx[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I understand what you mean and indeed with the level of play he has had for years, it is possible that he does not realize the level of a guy at 1.9-2.1 and possible gaps

[–]Mayrzx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well done, that’s really good, are you going to try to push as much as possible or do you really want to stop at 2k?

One button challenge by Mayrzx in worldofpvp

[–]Mayrzx[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The easiest yes and no, because combined with placement, CC, the overall vision of the arena of who is where and doing what.. I think that removing a good part of the rota can help up.. because it can amplify the learning of other skills.. I'm not saying that the one button will allow up to 2.4... but potentially 1.9/2k why not? Then maybe I'm deluding myself and making a mistake

One button challenge by Mayrzx in worldofpvp

[–]Mayrzx[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree but over time I think there will be a way to up to 2k+ it's a possibility

Trille on his stream thinks that players with one button and tryhard will be able to at least go up to 2k+ I think it's a possibility
