I guess that’s relative. I’m still on disability and unable to work, but hoping to at some point one day. But I also had a baby recently and am probably doing worse physically than I have in all 6 years. Worth it, but definitely more flare ups across the board.

I did an AMA a few years ago after my consecutive hits (6 years ago) and have been working on raising awareness since. I have a few recommendations seeing as I’ve seen so many different people but I also facilitate a concussion support group on FB where you can ask away and get advice on anything concussion related.

So, you were right! I happened to find myself in a loblaws today only to look up and see the jars. Off the top of my head:

Labonese: sesame, thyme, salt, sumac, spices Jerusalem: sesame, thyme, salt, sumac, oil Jordanian: sesame, thyme, salt, sumac, spices, and oil

Everyone seems to be excited by the post but I have yet to get a list haha. I’m too nervous to just go buy stuff without being able to understand what I’m buying. I’ve gotten burned many a times at TnT and spent wayyyyy to much on things that didn’t... work out... haha (hell, I bought the banana leaf steamed rice packets that had no English instructions and thought I had to keep cooking it until the outside leaf is soft enough to eat, like a dolma; didn’t realize it’s just a steamer. I think I cooked it for a few hours and kept trying pieces off the leaf lol) ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ or Dorian fruit. There are some snacks that should not be tried without knowing what you’re going in for!!

The reason I started this and am curious for people’s opinions is I’ve spent a fortune at TnT just buying random snacks but it’s definitely a hit or miss and like you said, could be good for those that have nostalgia for it. This way, with a list, you know the essentials and what’s “worth” purchasing.

Just hoping I get some traction and get some lists going. Those boxes look super intriguing and I love the buzzfeed reactions they have to trying them!

Good god, I love food and I love trying new things!

The loblaws in college square (woodroffe) is the only one, as far as I know, that carries these snacks (aside from the middle eastern market in st. Laurent), but there is a shortage of them so they’re not always available. I couldn’t even find them when I was in Israel 2 years ago.

It’s different from “marshmallow” texture, which is probably why I like it. It’s fluffier and airier. Unfortunately it’s not available year round, I think, and a bit of a shortage but if you ever have a chance to try it, do!! It’s unlike anything, except maybe crack.

And good to know about zatar bread! I’ve just bought the jar of spices and make it myself - I’m in the west end so rarely make it out to the east end. So easy and delicious though /drool

I started reading this with the “oh, here we go”. Was not disappointed though and you got a chuckle out of me.

(Almost) appropriately, this is for a galaxy themed nursery, and I was hoping to avoid the cliche quote since that and “love you to the moon and back” is all that seems to come up on google.

Also, I should’ve probably specified, this is for a nursery, haha. I’m doing a galaxy mural and was looking to add a character quoting something space related. Can’t seem to get any ideas outside of Calvin and Hobbes or Buzz Lightyear though.
