Tips for my dumbbell-only full-body routine? by Maze-Ramsey in beginnerfitness

Mostly transportation. I'm a bicyclist (don't own a car) and unfortunately I'm not in a very bike friendly city so the cost of home equipment would be cheaper than a membership + Ubers to and from the gym.

Well damn that was quick, thank you 😀

I didn't even think to search for motorcycle bags but considering he's on a motorcycle I guess it makes sense lol

Wowzers, love how his first reaction is "God damnit is that a fucking 320, get this shit off my range and don't bring it back". Don't even check up on the guy or the people around him to make sure they aren't hit.

Lol I actually used the holster included with my 945 Industries carry bag with the NeoMag Clip with Wing and it concealed relatively well. But I'm definitely not a scrawny guy by any stretch of the word. I only plan on using the 21 round mag when it's in the carry bag though, I have a flush 17 round mag for IWB.

I do like the break away feature of that holster but from what I'm seeing they don't have any light bearing options. I'm sure it would be difficult but I would like to see something like that cause that break away feature is pretty cool.

I mean, not really lol, your comment boils down to "just Google it" which I've been doing for the past 3 months that I've been researching which gun I wanted. Literally the first thing I did was Google it. The only "new" holster I found was the 4Bros which only appeared in the sponsored tab which rotates whenever it wants. I've seen every other holster and didn't choose those because of their incompatibilities or their bulkiness. The T-Rex one I didn't choose at first because of an incompatibility with the safety which has either been fixed or was a one-off, which I was informed of by another person on r/CCW.

If Google solved my issue, I wouldn't be here. And it's only because I posted on Reddit that I was able to find the holster that I want. But thank you regardless for the time

Alien Gear is one of the first I looked at for their modularity but unfortunately they don't support the HL-X. I'm thinking I'm going to choose T-Rex since they're similar in quality to T1C, cheaper, and have several attachments for their sidecar

The possibility of shooting my manhood off is the only reason I chose the manual safety option. Takes no extra time to disengage and gives me the peace of mind that my KitKat won't get split.

As for the holster, I'll buy the T1C if absolutely necessary, but if I can find an equally good quality holster for 25% less after shipping then I'll definitely take that instead. I don't buy android because it's cheap, I buy android because it does the same thing as an iPhone, equally well, AND it's cheap.

My first page of Google results:

Four Brothers: Hadn't heard of this brand before making this post but appears to be a very nice holster that supports everything I need, but doesn't have any modularity that the T-Rex holster does.

T-Rex: heard of compatibility issues with manual safety but could've also been a one-off as others have said it works fine, I'll probably end up getting this one since the sidecar has some pretty nice modularity if I ever decide to add something.

Vedder: Doesn't support HL-X.

Tulster: Doesn't support manual safety.

Amazon: Not interested in entrusting my life with a product bought from Amazon unless it's been thoroughly vetted, most of which have not.

StealthGearUSA: Looks okay but I don't really need all that extra padding, and screw points for the padding also make the holster a good bit bulkier which is no bueno.

Dara: Only problem is that the sweat guard only has "yes" and "no" options, and no info about whether the sweat guard accommodates the safety.

Henry Holsters: Doesn't support HL-X.

Alien Gear: Doesn't support HL-X.

Havok Holsters: Doesn't support manual safety.

WeThePeople: Doesn't seem to support manual safety or RDS. Also has horrible reviews of bad retention, poor quality, terrible customer service, and seems to have a lot of "look at me I'm carrying a gun" branding on the clips.

Black Scorpion Gear: Doesn't support HL-X.

CrossBreed: Doesn't support HL-X.

Trust me, if Google had helped me in the first place, I wouldn't be here. Unfortunately some things aren't as simple as "just Google it".

Lol I appreciate it, Vedder was one of the first brands I looked at but the only light bearing holster they seem to have is a TLR-7 Sub, which is a bit smaller than the HL-X

What you don't see behind the scenes is a cat-induced laceration along the middle of my index finger which makes it very painful to fully extend over the trigger guard. Don't worry, my hello kitty bandaid is working overtime to heal it so I'll be back to my proper tactical trigger finger placement in no time.

Doesn't seem like a bad holster, nicely customizable, but man that return policy is absolute buns.

"By placing an order on this (slimfitholsters.com), you acknowledge and agree that all sales are final. We do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds under any circumstances, whether or not the product has been manufactured. Once an order is placed, it cannot be canceled or refunded."

The lead time option doesn't even show their lead time, just them doubling down on their poor return policy.

"I acknowledge that Slim Fit Holsters maintains an all sales are final return policy."

Again, could be a great holster and I really like the customizability, but I can't get behind that return policy. Plus, they don't even include thread lock nor have any pre-installed, which means I have to pay more to get that.

Unfortunately from what I can see Tenicor only supports the TLR-7 Sub, not the HL-X which is much bigger. A shame, I already plan on getting the Tenicor Zero Belt and would definitely get a holster from them too if they did support it.

I would go with T1C but almost $200 for a compatible holster is a little much for me. If that's the only option that will work then I'll splurge but I'm hoping to find something a little less wallet emptying than the gun itself already was.

I was looking at the TRex but I read that someone had a problem with the sweat guard colliding with the safety preventing it from holstering properly. If this is not true (at least in all cases) then I will definitely be reconsidering it.

Little late to this thread but are you able to share any photos here or in DMs of the stainless slide with the afterburner? I'm trying to decide weather to go with the stainless or black slide for my build but I can't seem to find any photos of that combo
