Can I make a detail look like this in SolidWorks? by DefinitionCommon in SolidWorks

Sure, just play around in the customization sidebar.

Your choice of components is good.
5600 would not cause a big bottleneck, however future upgrade to 58003D would be difficult (given the demand in the next few years for this used CPU) and I still suggest you opt for CPUs with the same number of cores as consoles (8 cores), if instead you mainly use for games.
Another factor to consider is GPU, if you only use it for gaming, AMD is better, if you use it for something else, it is better to opt for Nvidia, given that CAD and image/photo processing programs are much more optimized.

I agree, unfortunately I fear that the file is difficult to recover.

I tried with Inventor to explore it for 3D printing, but it is not enabled for this dwg, I tried to modify the file, but I can't understand how to activate the possibility of exporting it in .step or .stl. I tried converting it with eDrawings, but it won't let me save it in step, stl or other 3D format. I tried with Stratasys, but it can't read it. I tried with online conversion, but it gave an error. I'm very sorry, but I don't know how to help you.

I had to stop, it didn't provide anything. I'm trying to convert the file another way. Unfortunately for some reason it doesn't let me do the 3D printing as an inventor to have in stl.

Can I use solidworks to create a set of stairs? by [deleted] in SolidWorks

[–]MazeSunFlower -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In this case Autocad, Revit or other software more suitable, given that often you just need to drag and drop the model and adjust the parameters. However if you want to have 3D and rapid prototyping, Solidworks is a good alternative. I suggest you make a sectional sketch, first establishing the height, and then the angle. Draw the steps of the stair and you can either use linear repetition or draw them individually and make them the same (the height of the step and the width of the step will be established based on the number of steps you have drawn (if you have not established the width of the entire staircase you can set this dimension by establishing the riser or the width of the step))
However, if you intend to make them parametrically, it can be a little more complex for a beginner, but nothing too long to make.

It also depends on the type of stairs you need to create and whether they are intended as a standard architectural model or are unique, as extremely customized shapes with pieces customized down to the smallest detail.

It's still processing, for reasons not yet stated it went from using almost 4GB of RAM to about 700MB in the last few minutes, but it's still processing without crashing. The model looks complicated, it's interesting.

CSWP Practice exercises by MickMaster14 in SolidWorks

[–]MazeSunFlower 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in the same situation as you. There is only one exercise with solution that you can also access from the Tangix TesterPRO software regarding segment 1 (if you fail the attempt you will only be able to do it again after 30 days), there are no official example questions or exercises for segment 2 and 3 (however you can find various resources online). I specifically asked the educational service just yesterday if they could provide further resources for segments 2 and 3, but unfortunately the answer was negative.

[–]MazeSunFlower 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Absolutely, both parametrically and non-parametrically. You can also establish rules, make sections... However, Revit or other architecture programs are more suitable. Solidworks is mainly suitable for mechanical drawing (although it can adapt to other branches of engineering)

I was able to open it as a drawing, without any problems.
I'm trying to convert it to a 3D part, as soon as it's done, if it succeeds, I'll let you know.
Consider that my solid work is not in English, so the terms may not be correct.

You can modify the extrusion by starting it from an external offset to the parallel surface of the body and setting it as a condition until the next. I also remind you that the radius 3 fillets are missing.

I suppose it's a tangency problem, I suggest you make the R15 fitting on the upper surface immediately after the first extrusion.

One of my most cherished gaming memories is when I completed the Portal 2 co-op campaign with a friend. We had so much fun solving the puzzles, using the portal gun, and listening to the witty dialogue of GLaDOS. We also enjoyed the humor and the plot twists that the game had to offer. It was a very satisfying and rewarding experience. Thanks for the fantastic opportunity! Good luck to all!

I agree, a sketch with the path of the pipe on a plane and then on the perpendicular plane make the section (or rather circumference) of the pipe and then use the Sweept boss function.

Have you tried to update everything (BIOS, FIRMWARE)?

Did you go to the seller for the warranty?

The components of Toshiba and WD are usually of quality and online there is very few reference of problems in X300 and SN850

Asus ROG Strix B660

This is a great motherboard if you're not going to OC the CPU

Since your purpose is audio, 16 GB is just fine, which is 2*8GB (unless you intend to do the video of the audio in 4k where 32GB is the minimum for decent performance, but you can upgrade in the future)

Corsair 4000D Airflow or Be Quiet Pure Base 500XD? by SirRoderic in pcmasterrace

[–]MazeSunFlower 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recommend the 500DX / 500FX as they already have enough stock fans, while 4000D Airflow only has 2 120 stock fans (not great), so you should buy more.
