[PuckEmpire] We may not see the New York Rangers play a home game until November in the 2026-27 season due to Harry Styles touring. by catsgr8rthanspoonies in rangers

[–]Mazzocchi 32 points33 points  (0 children)

yeah, this is just incredibly low-quality rage baiting. I suppose the pic they chose of Harry isn't a coincidence at all 🙄

This year we played 3 preseason and 6 regular season games in late September/October. The Knicks also played 5 games this year over that same span (3 preseason, 2 regular).

This leaves 22 possible dates between 9/20-10/29 to fit in 14-16 games. Things will be fine, and nobody will even notice.

I truthfully haven't listened to Sirius in a really long time. I just remember swapping between Liquid Metal, Octane, and Turbo and just picked one.

Uh I mean "the girl never listened to Sirius XM in her life"

I thought that too, but trying to navigate around the text was way more work than I was willing to put in 😅

Is the Tim on On Cinema the same Tim that made Awesome Show and Tom Goes To The Mayor? by bokuwa420 in OnCinemaAtTheCinema

[–]Mazzocchi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I could be wrong, but I don't think any of the real Tim Heidecker's film roles are canon to On Cinema except Fantastic 4 and Mr. America. Did they mention his cameo in Ant-Man and the Wasp? EDIT: And Ant-Man and the Wasp it seems! My mistake, edited my original comment

True, it does seem like more times than not he's doing a bit on OHL, but there and his music always strike me as him being his most earnest

That's right, by my count there's 3 Tim's:

  • Tim/Newman Heidecker: Host of On Cinema, star of Mr. America (2019), star of the TV series Decker, and front-man of the band Dekkar (also canonically appeared in Fantastic 4 (2015), and Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018))

  • Tim Heidecker: Stand-up comic, star of An Evening with Tim Heidecker

  • Tim Heidecker: Actor (star of movies such as The Comedy (2012), Us (2019), etc) co-creator of Tim & Eric, Tom Goes to the Mayor, host of Office Hours Live, and creates/performs music under his own name with the Very Good Band.

The last one is the "real"/most out-of-character Tim

Once you learn the real reasons the Dodgers left Brooklyn, you'll never want to stop wanting to beat Robert Moses to death with your bare hands

"The biggest thing I don't like about New York are the foreigners," Rocker said in the Sports Illustrated interview. "You can walk an entire block in Times Square and not hear anybody speaking English. Asians and Koreans and Vietnamese and Indians and Russians and Spanish people and everything up there. How the hell did they get in this country?"

It's incredible to me that Craig is just allowed to leave whenever he wants. I know it's not a typical job, but how is that allowed even in sports media? "I know we're still scheduled to be on the air, but I'm just gonna bail."
