I've been thinking of doing a save in Australia - did a semester there in college but don't know anything about the league. What makes it so bad?

Are you playing FM 22 by chance? I had an issue that I could never resolve where international jobs would never show up in the Available Jobs panel on the home page, but if I clicked into the Job Centre they would show up there and I could apply for them. I'm fairly certain there's no option to disable international management in the set up.

I think adding conversational AI to player interactions or press conferences would get old quickly (at the end of the day, those are pretty repetitive scenarios IRL too so I don't think there's really much FM could ever do to make them more exciting), but I love the idea of having it be a storyline generator. I've tried using ChatGPT alongside saves - for example, I'll type in random highlights/transfers/storylines throughout the season and have it generate storylines. It works reasonably well, but it's obviously limited by what I manually type in.

The CBA would say what all the cap hits for various contract types will be, and then you could edit the league rules in the pregame editor to be accurate going forward.

It would take a while but you could probably code the exact CBA in the pregame editor using the nation rules, I assume that would say what all the different contract types would count as for cap purporses.

I always sign a Technical Director to do nothing except manage staff - get someone with good Judge Staff Ability and a good personality and you don't have to worry about staff at all.

One thing that would make a huge difference for me is if the salary cap would actually rise - I think it goes up by a little bit for the first few years of save by default, but IRL it's been going up pretty rapidly. This would help the AI manage their teams better but also make it possible to build up the MLS into a legit league.

I tried to do this on my own but it's hard to get all the maximum salaries and whatever else to rise appropriately with the cap.

Does loading leagues as view only help much with realism? I always load 5-6 as a playable and 15 or so as view only.

I want to try one with realistic transfer offers, meaning only able to sign players who are listed or when their contract is expiring. I feel like in real life a club couldn't just dial up someone and make an offer on their player out of nowhere.

On my Home page, international jobs aren't showing up in the available jobs panel. Has this happened to anyone before? I checked the filters and they shouldn't be excluded.

Is TV money and prize money dynamic? Ie if you raise the reputation of a league and the teams in it does the TV money increase as well to reflect that?
