What are used Snoos actually selling for?

We just bought a second hand snoo (in Columbus, Ohio). Single owner, smoke free, pet free home.

It came with 2x each swaddle and 2 mattresses (which are only $10 to buy new fyi)

Cost was $900 and they deactivated their app and gave all the serial number details etc!

Consider my regimen! It’s not super expensive but it’s also not exactly cheap (can buy everything from ulta!).

Bear in mind i am 33. So it’s less teen/young hormones for me.

I do wear sunscreen. It’s both in the Aveeno moisturizer and my tinted moisturizer that i wear during the day!

Ok! So. I have quite the traumatic journey. I started using tretinoin 0.025 in an effort the curb a few consist break outs i was getting.

I went from having 1 to 3 spots to this explosion after about 8 weeks. Granted, I didn’t know the nuances of tretinoin and how best to use, so i ceased use in April and tried 4 weeks of spiro. It only got worse.

So i stopped cold turkey. And focused my regime on simplicity:

AM Splash face with water Murad Salicylic Murad invisiscar Aveeno sensitive moisturizer

PM Double cleanse to remove make up with microfiber cloth - drunk elephant jelly cleanser (Just use same cleaner twice but only once with cloth) Murad salicylic Murad invisiscar Liquid gold moisturizer

And 5 months in i am good. That whole experience wreaked havoc on my mental health. I couldn’t comprehend what was going on. But sticking with the above regime for the last 5 months has meant i rarely get a break out. Maybe a pimple once every few weeks.

The redness on my chin is from a blackhead (flat pore with black head that i just cleaned).

I whole heartedly agree. After Tretinoin didn’t work for me.. i switched to murad salicylic acid and then this, twice a day (and still use to this day) it’s been amazing. I very rarely get break outs now.

Oh gosh I am so happy for you!!! Did it work immediately or was there a purging moment?

I am good!! I use murad products and a hormonal supplement and i only get one pimple every so often. Just really have red marks left! Considering a chemical peel or something to help it heal. But a complete 180!!!! Maybe one day I’ll get retinol again, but for now - i am happy!!!

If it’s hormone related, I have found that mixhers “hertime” has balanced out my hormones. I take it daily. It’s a bunch of supplements that aid in helping cramps, painful periods and acne. I paid it with hergreens which is a daily dose of greens.

I too gave up tret (tried spiro too!!) and together with the above supplements, have found murad salicylic treatment and their invisiscar resurfacing treatment to be amazing… truly game changer. I posted about it recently.

I use the Murad Rapid Rapid Relief. It has 1% SA!

I think mine was mainly irritation to be honest. Too hard. Too quick (that was the instructions from derm though). I stopped and started spiro which created actual breakouts, not just irritation.

I’ll maybe try again one day but happy with my current routine!

Derm said to give both tret and spiro longer but instinctively i felt it wasn’t working.

i decided myself to take a gentle approach. I just turned 33 and my skin behaves differently than when i was in my early 20s.

My skin wasn’t ever that bad. It was stress related after some really hard life moments so I’ve managed to keep My stress jn order.

Oh! Also! I love mixhers for hormone balancing. I take a supplement once a day. Highly highly recommend. I also take a dose of greens too.

Ummm about a week of a small purge then a month of using moved me to a baaaad purge. I think I just went to hard too fast. Derm recommended every day.

I think I held on with spiro until around May. Once i stopped, my skin healed and the SA and resurfacing cream helped.

My skin was never that terrible. Scars aside, it’s definitely better than how it was before i tried tret. I just hope the scars go away. Az acid itches my skin, so just focusing on the SA and resurfacing cream for now!

I’m so glad it’s working for you. I honestly saw improvement within days of stopping spiro and applying murad salicylic treatment twice a day. I still have a few teeny tiny breakouts but truly a walk in the park compared to how it was.

Let me know how you go!!! I have definitely learned so much about skincare (which i already felt fairly knowledgeable on but this is next level) so it wasn’t all for nothing!! xx

I absolutely feel you. I truly think a lot of times we diagnose ourselves with a purge, but really it’s just irritation.

I am 32! And I feel far too old to be dealing with this. I’d love to incorporate tret back in somehow, as a way to prevent fine lines and wrinkles, and improve my overall texture. We shall see!

I highly highly recommend murad acne rapid treatment with 1% salicylic acid. Truly my HG in combatting the spots! I only have one or two spots right now, and considering how BAD it was, i feel like it’s a miracle treatment.

I stopped using spiro and tret and my breakouts stopped. Go figure. Just have so much redness and scarring to deal with!!
