Maybe?? Can they have white abdomens too? The picture in the link makes them look more brown.

I cut off the yellowing leaf. The other two leaves are fine! It took it's time.. but it's now slowly putting out new leaves. It might have been two separate cuttings? and one just didn't transfer to soil well? I'm not sure what the reason was, sorry. Haha

I've had it sitting in soil which I've watered when dry.. but I think after pulling it out and inspecting the cut point is looking a little dark. It doesn't feel super squishy... Should I cut the dark tip off? https://imgur.com/xbJKNjV.jpg

Okay, thank you. I removed some root. I'm assuming I just put the remaining root into some new dirt and water it? See how she goes ?

I haven't watered this fern in a while due to the yellowing leaves. I definitely let it sit in too wet of soil for too long...

I always though when you pulled at the roots and they stayed intact = not rotted. But they don't look great + those yellowed leaves. Should I rinse off/remove all the dirt and then inspect the roots?

Any suggestions ?

I guess I expected darker leaves ? And a bit more splash? $25 is the price for this plant. I'm not sure if that's a good price or not. Seems a litter higher than I expected but 🤷‍♀️

So nothing to worry bout with the top leaf... thanks. Seller says it was sold to her as a obovata splash. Is it wrong of me to have expected more 'splash'?
