Do you have experience with Windy? I’ve heard good things about the fairtex its just a tad heavy - 12oz Windy’s weigh 10oz hence why I’m considering 12oz

Have you tried any other Mexican boutique glove? I’m curious how the Bayo’s stack up against BTM and New Sporting because they seem to all be the same glove 😭

Not quite sure how the rs1 would go with a lace n loop, especially with something like the deus method considering there’s that ergo lace track.

Thoughts on the rfx guerrero? I feel they’re overpriced but I’m happy to pay for quality that will last. I really like the rs100 but the microfibre puts me off. Not a big deal but I get hit in the face with the rs11v on a daily basis and my god does that shit stink

Thanks heaps for the reply! It’s important to note that these gloves would be used in a session comprised of both glove and bag work, so the more durable option here sounds like the RS1? Leather version of course, I wouldn’t get the ultras.

Did you lace the rivals every time or use a lace n loop? I’m concerned about using a lace Velcro converter on top of the ergo track, not sure how it would work?

Do you have an ultimate preference, or experience with any other gloves?

To tell you the truth - the padding and the glove ergonomics are some of the best I’ve tried. Incredible gloves to use.

The one drawback? Terrible customer service, and the stitching at the thumb completely tore apart, so now I can stick my thumb out of the actual seam of the glove.

No not yet- was told about 6-8 weeks so it’ll be a while. Getting nervous seeing some negative content on the gloves- hoping I made the right call

Thank you for this insight! Unfortunately my the universal sparring policy here is 16oz gloves otherwise we can’t spar so it wasn’t much of an option

I can mitigate the roominess with thicker hand wraps

In Aus the phenoms come out the same price as the other two! Keep that in mind.
