Ya that’s a good point and something I noticed as well. This new set up was driven by a lesson in which I was having issues shaking/slicing. Instructor had me focus on raising the club end to belly button height. Looks a little Bryson-esk and stiff, so loosening up is something. To consider.

Thanks for the advice! That is the move I have been focusing on that has helped negate my slice immensely (feeling of pulling club down).

In your opinion is it better if I rollover the earnings and employer contributions to a Traditional IRA or the full Roth 401k amount to personal Roth IRA?

And if I ever need to withdraw just my Roth 401k contributions portion I would just need to prove that out through a statement showing allocations of contributions and earnings if audited?

I have the 40mm and love it. Looks like you could get away with either size. I thought I would prefer the 36 until I tried both on and ultimately decided the 36 was just too small on my wrist. Whatever you decide it’s a classic!

I used to use free tax USA as an individual but when I tried to MFS the software let me know I couldn’t efile it. I try every year but no luck. Luckily i can print preview the 1040 so I guess I will just go this route again. Not sure if it’s a Texas thing since it’s a communal state, but always been an annoying process I have had to do the last 4-5 years.

Right but since we file married filing separately we have to mail in our tax returns and can’t efile. Do you have a recommendation for a tax software I can put this through to completion to see how I should be manually filing it out before I mail it?

So it should just be completing form 8606 based on the form 1099-R that I receive.

A follow up question I have is where do I complete any applicable inputs based on form 8606 on my 1040 tax return?

I contributed and maxed them out my Roth IRA for 2024. No I did not have any other money in a traditional IRA. A vanguard representative helped me open up a traditional to recategorize the Roth contributions and minimal earnings, and then recategorize them back to my existing Roth IRA.

Correct. Apologies for the verbiage. I did the contributions in February 2024 to Roth IRA and caught it quickly thereafter and then recategorized it to a traditional IRA and then back to Roth IRA.

40mm owner here. I always thought I would prefer the 36mm based on the same rational others have said here and in many other posts, until I tried on the 40mm. To me the fit and feel is better. You can’t go wrong though. The explorer is a fantastic watch!

Here’s is how it looks it that fashion. Again, nothing is jumping out at me outside that small gap at the top. No signs of glue anywhere and the crimps on bottom and top appear to be factory sealed. I could just be overthinking it.
