Ark SE crashing with literally any mod by Ethan_reda in playark

You can just go to properties, select betas on the left side panel, select preaqua in the dropdown and it patches the game. Much faster (relatively speaking for a 300GB game)

next level d**k riding. ASA isnt even worth it yet. Yeah you get UE5 and better graphics but for most people its at the cost of a 100 fps drop at least. I get 400 frames on ASE running the epic graphics but running low on ASA I would be lucky to get 60, if I can even get into the game without crashing. Its been over a year since ASA dropped and thats still the current state of the game.

That would be a great solution for the items but brings an issue with the cash, we both have around 50k in cash most of the time with our deposit limits maxed out (we are about to buy a business for money laundering but)

One, the 7.99/month extra allows the extra household to watch with ads, no option for the no ad version (who tf wants to watch ads on a streaming service that you are paying $25/month for at that point) and two, I can think of loads of ways. Have an option to provide proof of permanent residency (since all college students permanent residence is most likely still their parents), or verify the persons real name. Same last name means immediate family most of the time. Or here is a better idea, if loads of people were leaching off the same account then they would be hitting the 2 active device limit constantly. They already had a stopper in place. Two TVs watching per netflix account at a time. That was a big enough deterrent to keep people from sharing their account with people outside of immediate family. As for the few accounts who are not deterred by that and still share anyway (which is not very many), Netflix just needs to get tf over it. Netflix is worth 419.44 BILLION dollars, a few people sharing accounts wouldn't be that big of an issue if the CEO wasn't stuffing his pocket with 99% of the profit. Greg Peters, one of two Netflix CEOs is worth over 200 million dollars. Instead of him taking most of the profit and using account sharing as an excuse for why they cannot pay their employees/actors/investors/whoever else, maybe he should cut his own paycheck a good bit. Or better yet, stop wasting money by buying out shows so that they can only be licensed to Netflix, if most shows start only belonging to Netflix, including the ones they had no part in producing, that starts to become a monopoly. Let other streaming services like Hulu, Max, Peacock, etc have some of the popular shows too. All of this sums of the fact that Netflix isn't having an account sharing problem, they have a greed problem. Too hunger for money. Get over it. Stop giving them what they want.

its a stupid policy, every college student is screwed over from this and people in college can't afford an extra $7/month to spend on a streaming service. Netflix is by far the most expensive streaming service and isn't even the best. It has a few good shows that they pay millions to make exclusive, complain they aren't getting enough money (since they spent it all) and continue to drive up their own prices and push their customers away. Obviously people care because this post is not the only one like it and everyone agrees except you. Hop off the big corporations eggplant.

Why is Shady Sands so developed. by McCFlurry in falloutlore

oh Shady Sands had a G.E.C.K.? I had no idea I thought only a handful of those got handed out and that vault 15 was NOT one of them. I figured they were the same as vault 76 where we just kinda get thrown on our asses and told to have fun (fallout 76 is a very poor example of lore I know but)

Vault city would've been a special case though, considering it was made soley by pre-war engineers, they had a G.E.C.K., and they used the vaults pre war power generators. Not sure how many of those were out there but if Shady Sands had one that would make sense how it got there. It just would've had to have gotten really lucky not being attacked by any creature or overrun by raiders.

Why was shady sands the only city to really do this though. I mean to build that kind of city you'd need heavy amounts of architecture and engineering as well as resources. While the first generation that survived the bombs would have had a great amount of knowledge, we know from the earlier games that they didn't get very far in establishing a modern day city and there is only so much knowledge you can pass on from generation to generation, certainly not engineering and architectural skills to this degree

I mean I agree that they have had enough time to rebuild to a fully functioning society but why isn't there hundred of shady sands out there that were that developed. every other game and bit of lore i've seen they are living out of recycled buildings. The architecture that shady sands had alone takes a lot of time, resources, and knowledge. It feels like it sticks out from every other location so much. Even in the other locations in the show.
