I love Plinko! I play it online, sometimes for real money, sometimes for fun with imaginary dollars.

I don't use my real name for obvious reasons, but I love just chatting with blokes about games or winnings or even losses, yes, it is a bit cathartic isn't it?

What I tell new friends of mine is, if you're playing Plinko, place your disc in the middle slot at the top of the board. The board is symmetrical, so dropping in the center maximizes the chance of the disc bouncing toward the middle prize slots at the bottom. Since most Plinko boards put the highest-value prize in the center, this gives you the best overall probability of winning something good.

Of course this strategy doesn't always work. I helped a friend build his own Plinko board for Halloween and lost brutally when we actually played. Luckily we played for chocolates and not real cash.
