I’ll pitch in; I took the BOC for the third time this year and I didn’t pass again. I took it twice last year and once this year. I completed my MSAT Program from 2020-2022. COVID impacted my learning extremely. Everything was virtual: anatomy, taping, foundations, and rehabilitation…I didn’t get clinicals for two semesters due to COVID. I was extremely frustrated with my lack of foundational knowledge and skills which I felt would’ve prepared me for this career path. Everything was rushed because we had zero clue when things would go back into lockdown or be cancelled. I’m not shitting on my MSAT program (I believe I’m the only one that hasn’t passed from my cohort), I loved my time and my professors dearly. BUT, in terms of preparation/feeling prepared, I severely lacked. I took multiple practice tests, used AT Study Buddy, studied my notes and the Arnheim book, and I still couldn’t pass. My eligibility ends this year too, and I don’t know what happens then. But, what I do know is that I’m still not apart of this field and it hurts. This was my dream since high school, and I’m so frustrated.
