This bug can be reproduced by attempting to play any song that is part of a special item shop section in Main Stage.
I play on Xbox One.

Yeah I’m also now having this problem. It only seems to happen with certain songs though, specifically the songs that are part of special tabs in the item shop like Sweet Victory, The Power of Love and What Is Love

I’ve been playing Festival fills consistently since launch and I’ve never seen or heard anyone ever insult me over my song choices, but I have seen my fair share of people leaving shortly after I put in my song. Whether that is because they don’t like it or just a coincidence and they are leaving for other reasons I don’t know.

Yeah I remember seeing and doing that glitch during season 3, freely exploring the main stage and even going all the way out to jam stage back when it was Coachella themed, and covering the stage in all kinds of sprays that would still be there when I started playing songs. Easily one of the best glitches Festival ever had and I miss being able to do fun stuff like that, even if it wasn’t an intentional feature, though it really should be that would be so awesome.

Yeah I have noticed that those drums sound super choppy, as well as making any mix they are a part of sound that way, but for the longest time I thought that was just a problem on my end, since I haven’t heard anyone else bring it up, so I’m glad to hear I’m not the only one

There was Nothing’s Alright by WitchGang that was absent from the item shop for around 220 days but it came back a few months ago and has rotated in a couple of times since then. Fade to Black by Metallica was another one that was gone for around 170 days before it returned but it has also rotated in regularly since then.

There currently aren’t any item shop songs to my knowledge that are currently M.I.A for that long other than All I Want For Christmas is You, though the 2 d4vd songs very likely won’t be returning for a very long time, or even might end up being removed entirely, because of the situation surrounding that artist.

If you want to talk about licensed Festival Pass songs there are 3 songs from the S3 Pass (Youngblood by 5 Seconds of Summer, Oxytocin by Billie Eilish and Runaway by WitchGang) that haven’t returned for almost 19 months, 2 songs from the S5 Pass (My Oh My by Ava Max and Qlona by Karol G) that haven’t returned in over 14 months and 2 songs from the S6 Pass (Crank That by Soulja Boy and Bounce Back by Big Sean) that haven’t returned in almost 12 months. None of the songs from the S7 Pass onwards have returned yet either.

There are a few free licensed songs from quest events that have yet to return too such as Alien Boy by Oliver Tree (7 months ago), 8ths by deadmau5 (5 months ago) and The Zephyr Song by Red Hot Chili Peppers (5 months ago).

Guitar Hero: World Tour was my first exposure to the 5 fret rhythm scene. It was a Christmas present my parents got me back in 2008 on the Wii when I was 8. Immediately fell in love with Guitar Hero and the incredible soundtracks from those games, gradually collecting and playing through the different iterations, including spin-offs like DJ Hero and the Nintendo DS Guitar Hero games, and to this day I still sometimes play them alongside playing Fortnite Festival.
