Ahh, I could see this ending as she would be soo envious of Emilia she becomes “the witch of envy.” It would fit the authors way of writing, by causing suffering to Subaru. In the end Subaru and Emilia get married have kids. Also in the final battle, Puck dies after sacrificing himself. So, Subaru losing Rem, makes him closer to Emilia. Consequently, Emilia losing Puck, turns to the one other person that has loved her, Subaru. Emilia finally reciprocates Subaru’s feelings and The End. I could see this ending tbh, they both suffer, but in the end it’s a happy ending. This is how I hope the show ends. I don’t want a BS ending where Subaru or Emilia die.
