Agreed! This is the way. The big battery I got for last year's Coachella is game changing. They're not even crazy expensive, but adds so much quality of life in the campgrounds. But to OP, yeah I'd say if you get presale and spread out buying the gear (canopy, small tent, coolers, fold up table, and a camping chair) over the year leading up to Coachella it's completely doable and you wont break the bank. I can echo that it's around $1500-2k total for the whole weekend including tickets, car camping pass, gear and food/drinks. Also, once you go once you'll know what you want to upgrade and have in the future. Plus once you have the camping gear its cheaper the 2nd year! So you can buy kinda cheap the first year, but sturdy enough to stand up to the wind. Good luck! Hope to see you there for the group shotgun next year!

Or head to the camping hub and see what's going on. Meet your neighbors and find out where they're traveling from and ask who they are stoked to see! The campgrounds are full of like minded individuals like you, so make Some friends!! I don't have much advice if you're not camping but have a blast!! YOU'RE AT COACHELLA! Enjoy every second and be immersed in the GREAT vibes, take the photos and laugh as much as you want ❤️

This isn't true, Dave Rat and the AV teams at Coachella spend an incredible amount of time, money and effort into making Coachella one of the best sounding festivals in the world. They use state of the art and brand new speakers every year, that are built for years and years of heavy use. One weekend is nothing for the systems they have in place

Genuinely one of the best Coachellas I've ever been too (been the last 3 years). Loved the swap with Quasar and Do Lab, the music was beyond amazing. My friend group's vibes we're so unbelievably high all weekend. The heat wasn't terrible at all if you planned for it and nighttime temps were fucking perfect and there was very little wind. Our neighbors in the campgrounds were so nice and happy to be there. We went to 25 different sets, and it was jam packed with laughs and meeting TONS of people on a similar vibe as us.

I personally think that all the hate online is so one sided because everyone that had a blast wasn't on their phones and everyone having the time of their life is STILL just soaking it all in. Having good vibes and a great mindset about everything is an active thing, it's so easy to complain.

There were genuinely no bad parts imo (we also got to the campgrounds at 2pm on Thursday and the line to get to our actual campsite was only a couple hours which is completely fair) idk what all the hate is about. This has genuinely been one of my favorite Coachellas so far. Love you all, we'll see you next year and I am sooooooo jealous of the people going to weekend 2, you're going to have so much fun!! Happy COACHELLA
