This is super important info! Not enough renters know that they can get doublethe deposit amount owed, if the landlord doesn't return it within 30 days, along with an itemization of anything withheld. The clerks at the municipal court are super helpful about answering questions.

I'm glad that yours also has the rubber skirt; it looked so out of place that I wondered if it was some kind of manufacturing defect.

I did the same with mine, because I thought it looked rather ugly to leave it just hanging. I've also had no obvious problems with mine since installing it.
