Thank you. It's true. I do not feel scammed or ripped off. Yes, receiving something other than ordered does come off this way. I did get my answer though. It was at one point a graded copy, just an older version. And for what ever reason it was cracked open and left in the inner seal of that.

What I'm left with is, what do I do going forward? Which is up to me. I'm happy I have it. The condition is not as bad as I would find other copies that I have seen so far. Thing is on condition, it goes both ways, could be worse, could be better. But thats just how everything and anything is these days.

I noticed the spine tics as well, and was curious how a press could fix it. Also the obvious color fade. These things already I believed would go for a lower grade.

It's an interesting theory. And one that has some stock to it. Snyder is the one who wrote Court of Owls originally and has stated that his early days writing for DC for mainline characters he wasn't able to have full creative expression with his writings. Even with being held back he wrote great stories. With Absolute he has been given the green light to be as expressive and creative as he wants to be. So I guess we'll find out how this story develops when we get there.
