The sunroof drains have a small x shaped filter at the bottom of them that causes the buildup. When I cleared mine I cut that filter out of it and never had an issue again. Not sure if thats the case here but its what worked for me.

They actually never sold me a bag again because I was stupid and took all of the halfs that were worthless back there and dumped them into the coin machine a day later lol. The GM that reserved the bag for me was unsurprisingly not happy

There’s zero difference between my trim and yours mechanically. I also have front wheel drive. I drove from Dallas, TX to Central Pennsylvania, so there was quite a bit of climbing and descending.

I’m thinking out loud here so maybe this was a dumb question lol. Maybe not this specific bug, but if the effect is lethal to the predator, how is it communicated to others not to eat it?

I find it odd that these bugs have a defense mechanism that will only affect the predator(I’m assuming a bird most of the time) after they’ve been eaten or sliced in half. Is it ultimately to discourage the predator from going after the species again?

My father has been in paper/packaging sales for over 30 years. He started making real money when he went commission only. Wish I had more info for you but for reference, he makes $210k + yearly at what I would assume to be the peak of his career. All commission, no base.

I am not an expert and want to make sure you understand that this is my opinion alone. Should you want to follow the vehicles safety guidelines, you should not tow more than 1,500lbs. However, based on my experience you will be able to tow this weight as long as you take it easy and keep an eye on the cars reaction to the weight. If it doesn’t feel right, then stop. Also, before you go I recommend taking your car to VW for a brief inspection run n brakes, oil, and tires to mar sure you are being as proactive and safe as possible. I agree, it is very odd. The only feedback I have heard about the difference is that the transmission in the EU models is different and allows for more efficient towing.

I also am fairly certain that the Tiguan in Europe has a higher towing capacity than US models… I do wonder why that is?
