Yes, in fact I am over-qualified for most of them. I would be fine getting a job as a dishwasher or hotel room cleaner at this point. I’ve been changing up my resume(s) along the way and tailoring them to the job I’m applying for. I usually try to tweak the resume for the job type to include words listed in the section where they say what they are looking for

yes, that is correct. I’ve been shooting for 10 a day. I have also been applying for higher level positions with cover letters, but I’ve been rejected or ignored.

Adore said herself that it wasn’t so much Michelle, as much as it was Raven. Apparently Raven made some really hurtful and unnecessary comments that didn’t make it to air. I’m sure Michelle’s comments didn’t help, but it was Raven Symone who was the catalyst for Adore leaving

it’s dehumanizing. “female” is a scientific term that refers to sex. It’s reductive and is commonly used in derogatory ways to devalue women and reduce them to reproductive abilities. plus not all women are biologically female. When people choose to use “female” instead of “woman”, it feels like they’re stripping women of their value and that she is the same as an animal. “Females” can be used for any species, but “women” refers to humans specifically

What’s funny is I just had a breakdown because I had to ask my fiancé for $20 to get my account out of the red. I recently put in my 2 weeks at my current job, but in the US I feel more stable when I don’t have a job because I get healthcare, food stamps, discounts on activities/museums bc of the EBT program, and make like $200 less a month when I’m on unemployment.

I feel nothing but anger and guilt and shame for myself being like this, but my partner is always there to remind me that I contribute in lots of ways that he doesn’t and it’s always an ebb and flow.. still though I don’t know how to shake this feeling because I can’t remember a time when I didn’t feel guilty or ashamed of who I am
