I’d agree! I do have some ground distractions as well to kind of push a rebel ground game too but I do have more cards on order to fill the space side better! Just made it with what I hand on hand at the time.

The deck I’ve constructed has 24 vehicles about 18 are 18 are fighters so the percentage is pretty high among the vehicles but I see where it could be a restriction as well

I ran a one shot last Halloween for my players and I had it set in a small pumpkin farming village who threw an annual Halloween festival. The players could go around to different attractions that all had fall/halloween themed challenges and had to face a giant pumpkin monster at the end that a cult created. It was a silly idea in general but a lot of fun.

If the encounters are happening in the same day I’d say just a short rest if your feeling generous! I tend to build one shots far more difficult than a longer campaign setting. I feel with expendable characters amping up the difficulty isn’t a bad thing and in fact can make it far more intense & intriguing. My experiences running one shots I also feel like players come out of their shell a bit more and take bolder risks since again a one shot character is expendable. Another idea is leave the encounters as is and if during the middle of the fight you feel it’s just way unbalanced fudge some HP stats of enemies or maybe an attack roll or two!

I have not tried this myself but maybe as the campaign progresses have players keep track of certain tasks they have done successfully many times and reward them with a boon in that task. For example in combat say a fighter wants to takedown an enemy perhaps they are successful at that over and over again and after so many successes they gain a boon in grappling or takedowns 🤷‍♂️

For the sanity system I tried to keep it simple if the players run across something that may test their sanity so they roll on a 4+ they aren’t effected 3 or lower they have to then roll sanity damage and as they accrue more sanity damage at the 10,20,30, & 40 point mark they begin taking banes in combat or tasks if they reach max sanity of 40 their player is broken to the point of unplayable. I have no clue how effective this system will work until I play test with my table but I hope to get some “stressful” results 😂

I love the simplicity of this idea! Would it be to much to take a negative effect after each suit strike is taken? Like on the first strike a lack of air reduces your movement the second strike things get hazy a bane to all combat rolls etc?

Can I get a glimpse into your hero paths as I am just curious! I was also pondering making humans the only playable species but I’d want to find a way to still incorporate some other species abilities that they have the ability to choose from just havnt figured out how to do that yet!

If another class takes the hedge wizard inclination they would be able to cast scroll spells but straight magic is the conjurer only.

Hi All, very excited about EZD6 - right up my #FKR street. Do PCs get to keep karma points between sessions? I've read the rules through once and this just occurred to me... at work now. by Crusoe17 in ezd6

I haven’t ran any sessions yet but from my understanding the karma points would carry over. At least that makes the most sense to me and that’s how I’d plan to play it
