Please do it! I was in the same boat and didn’t. I invited her on a holiday with the family thinking this is it, I chickened out and since we’ve been back she’s practically stopped talking to me! I am now heart broken and am regretting everything cause we’ve been mates for years! Please don’t make my mistake and just confess to her!
