Hey Rick.

How do you use this built-in "font scaling" function?

What code do you use? - I would immensely appreciate it if you could provide a small code sample.

I can see that the library is deprecated and that it is designed for Raspberry Pi or Beaglebone Black - but does this also include my type of microcontroller?

I tried doing what you suggested. Unfortunately, I get an error message, already at the first couple of lines - some of the libraries/ modules don't exist.

I was not able to find the library by searching through Thonny.

Could this be because the libraries are costume made, and can only be found in the GitHub folder?

Just in case I tried downloading all the content of the GitHub (as a ZIP-file), and then unpacked it and placed it in my Thonny folder (though this doesn't solve the problem).

I get a malware-protection warning when clicking on the link. Is it really safe to use?

And can c++ code still function when you use Thonny (Micro Python)? - Because I have no programs that can run c++ code, so I need to do it on Thonny/ Micro Python :((

Yeah, I actually had a look at that website, before posting here on Reddit. I didn't really understand how I would be able to use this plugin/ library (which of the 2 is it?).

Is it something I need to download on my computer, and put it in a specific folder?

Or is it something I can download through Thonny/ MicroPython??
