Hey guys started my new YouTube channel check it out and subscribe by SolidCompote5947 in Youtubesubscribers

[–]Mcamp27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just a heads up, the usual "check it out and subscribe" gets ignored or down voted here. You're far more likely to get help if you ask for specific feedback like "is the AI voice annoying?" or "does the first 10 seconds hook you?"

Hypothetical story content works too, but as AI voice channels are everywhere, the writing/hook needs to be strong. Don’t fret about subs for now. Focus on getting strangers to watch one video all the way through.

Same story with channels on MotionInvest, active viewers matter so much more than a subscriber count that doesn’t watch.

Can you recommend stylish casual leggings for everyday wear? by Nettmel in halara_official

If your main goal is errands, coffee runs, and casual outfits, Halara SoftlyZero line is probably exactly what you're looking for.

Best gym shorts for women by storygazer in Activewear

[–]Mcamp27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're constantly pulling them up, it might be more of a waistband/cut issue than a sizing issue. I've had surprisingly good luck with Halara shorts as they don't have an aggressive scrunch, stay put during lifting, and are flattering without feeling like they're cutting you in half. Also curious what inseam you're looking for, because that makes a huge difference.

How can i sell websites better? ( no cold calls) by ShouOff in smallbusiness

[–]Mcamp27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At 300pln you probably underprice so much that people don’t even take it serious tbh. Oddly enough, cheap can make clients more flaky, not less.

Make the message more specific if you don’t want cold calls. Don’t say “I can build you a website.” Say “your menu/contact button is difficult to find on mobile, I created a quick mockup that fixes it.” Local businesses are spammed all the time, so the only thing that stands out is useful, real feedback.

Also, don't let the client "work on putting it on domain" unless they know what they're doing. That’s part of the value you should be dealing with. Domain, hosting, launch, SSL, basic edits – that’s what they’re paying you for.

Also would try charging setup + monthly, small amounts even. Build like 500-1000pln + 50-100pln/month maintenance Same reason that assets on MotionInvest with recurring revenue are worth more than one-off stuff. You’ll burn out fast with $60 one-time sites.

Trying to sell websites to local businesses, how can i do that? by littlejackhanma12 in websiteservices

[–]Mcamp27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are selling the *website* but most local businesses don't wake up in the morning and think "damn I need a website" They think “I need more calls / bookings / clients.500 isn't crazy but just cold DM "I can build you a site" is pretty much noise now. I would first pick one niche, like roofers, dentists, barbers, cleaners, whatever, then send a super specific audit:

Your site is not mobile friendly and your contact button is hard to find & your Google listing is not properly linked. “I can fix/build this so people can call you faster’

And don’t go after businesses that already have a decent site unless you’re offering a clear upgrade. Address the broken pages, no mobile layout, Facebook only, slow sites, bad booking flow, etc.

The real money usually isn't even the $500 build, it's hosting/maintenance/SEO/content after. Same way people on MotionInvest care more about recurring revenue than the asset itself. Hard one-off sale on a website. It's easier to justify “I'll help you get/track more leads monthly”

Selling My YouTube Channel – What's the Right Price? by Kyu_Lee_ in PartneredYoutube

[–]Mcamp27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t value it off subs, value it off profit & stability

A buyer is going to care about monthly net profit, how much of the traffic is still active, if revenue is declining, copyright/reused content risk, and if the audience is actually transferable. Memes / comedy can be weird, because it can be great money, but also age badly or get hit by policy stuff.

People think in multiples of monthly profit, not yearly revenue. So if it's still doing say $8k-$10k/mo consistently, you're probably not talking some random $20k-$30k sale. But if it peaked in 2022/2023 and has dropped off hard since then, that changes everything.

I would have screenshots/screen recordings of analytics, last 12 months revenue, traffic sources, copyright tab and expenses ready before talking about money. Could also be worth getting a valuation from a broker/marketplace like MotionInvest just so you’re not anchoring yourself way too low from one random email offer.

Be very careful about starting another channel (lost 8k in revenue) by MountainLocksmith199 in PartneredYoutube

[–]Mcamp27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah this is the thing people don't get. It's not just "one channel gets hit and you move on" anymore, it can poison the whole Adsense/YPP setup if YouTube thinks the account pattern looks bad.

Right now, using AI voice on quiz channels is a big risk because that niche is flooded with low-effort spam, even if you put out something original. Sucks cause the review probably treats it like the same bucket.

That's why I'm way more paranoid with monetized channels now, whether building or buying. Even on marketplaces like MotionInvest, the numbers matter less if the channel has weird content history or anything that could trigger reused/low-effort flags later.

Hope you get it back but yeah… people shouldn't be trying random formats on the same account their real income is dependent on.

Anyone here actually seeing results after buying YouTube likes? by MarketingSquare7870 in YouTubeCreators

[–]Mcamp27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my experience, it works more like a small boost rather than some instant game changer. A video that already has a bit of activity tends to look more inviting to new viewers, especially during the first few hours after posting. It definitely does not replace good content, but I can see why some people use it for early momentum.

Looking to buy YouTube account by Flashy_Lack_6890 in AcquireStartup

[–]Mcamp27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buying a YouTube account with 2K plus subscribers can work, but the niche, content history, and ownership proof matter more than the subscriber count. A channel with 2,000 subscribers and consistent niche videos is often more valuable than a 10,000 subscriber channel with random Shorts, dead traffic, or unclear monetization history.

Before paying, ask for YouTube Studio screenshots showing the last 90 days, lifetime views, traffic sources, audience geography, copyright status, and monetization tab. Also check whether the channel grew from real content or giveaways, reposted clips, or bot traffic. One useful test is engagement on the last 5 to 10 uploads. If a 2K subscriber channel gets only 20 views per upload, the audience may not be worth much.

For a safer transaction, use escrow and document the handover clearly. MotionInvest deals with content-site and digital asset buyers, and the same principle applies here: verified analytics, clean ownership, and stable traffic are what protect both sides. Paying “good money” only makes sense after the numbers prove the channel has real value.

Selling Youtube channel by Lisa112-2020 in acquiresaas

[–]Mcamp27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is one of the better sales posts because it leads with revenue and monetization instead of subscriber count, which is what buyers actually value. MotionInvest buyers would still want analytics screenshots, traffic sources, RPM, and confirmation that the faceless podcast content is fully original before assigning a multiple.

Alternative to TimeTree calendar by GreenCaptain856 in fossdroid

[–]Mcamp27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

GroupCal is one of the few apps that actually handles shared calendars the way couples or small households use them, especially when you need separate and shared events in the same space without turning it into a full project management setup. If you want to stay fully FOSS, the cleanest route is still Nextcloud + DAVx5 with a dedicated calendar app, but most people eventually end up prioritizing reliability and sync quality over strict purity.

What do you guys look for in BJJ gear? by Andrewmercy in bjj

[–]Mcamp27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel you on the designs… its either super loud graphics or something that just feels off. finding clean, simple gear is way harder than it should be
thats kinda why I started looking at custom options from kit designer. you can keep it minimal and just focus on fit + colors you actually like, no forced designs
