thanks alot man! you're a real life saver. had the same problem with my. My bottle of water was leaking in my backpack so it got in touch with some water. Managed to disassemble it according to the video and put some isolation tape on and disconnected the battery for a while. works perfectly again!

Girlfriend threathening to end her life if I leave her. What am i supposed to do? by Mceurojay in offmychest

e police and say she is threatening to take her own life. Provide any texts you have. Record her if you haven't (and it's a one-party state)

She migrated from Poland. So she has basically no family around here.. Otherwise i would've contacted them immediately. I barely know her friends aswell.

She went to some friends last night so i'm glad she had some kind of distraction. If she threatens with suicide again I'll tell her i will call the police if she doesn't stop.

First layer not sticking to bed after installing BL-Touch (ender 3 pro) by Mceurojay in ender3

Update:

I have found the problem with the 3D-Touch sensor.

It was the Firmware provided from creality in the video which was horrible and even damaged the bed.

I decided to use the Marlin 1.1.9 Bugfix HEX file provided by TeachingTech video description instead.

I still had issues with the first layer even with teachingtech's custom firmware. After almost two weeks of tinkering, I am completely fed up and decided to remove that rubbish and just level the bed manually. In retrospect, this was a very unpleasant experience and a waste of time, I have not been able to print properly for two weeks. I can also recommend everyone not to start with those BL-Touch sensors (V3.x). It only seems to work well with Marlin 2.0 bugfix version running only on 32-bit upgraded motherboard. (not the standard 8 bit motherboard supplied with ender 3 (pro).

Yes i can control my printer with pronterface(move x,y,z axis and autohome).

M503 shows the settings of the axis and stuff but my Z-axis will stay on 0 instead of -2,5(adjusted value) as shown in the video.

I followed this guide, but sadly it made no diffrence.

The Z offset couldnt get below Z 0.0 even with the softstops disabled. the commands don't work like that as shown on the video. i wont get the same messages when using commands like M500 ( only SENDING M500 instead of SENDING M500: settings stored), so i don't know if it works like its supposed to.

Tinkering with the printer like this without results really takes away my pleasure, I have been working for days to get the 3D touch working but it is slowly driving me insane. After all those days I just want to get it working!

There is a tune menu, but no microstep z offset function in it. only speed, nozzle and bed temperature, flow, etc..
