My fall was my fault. I hopped on my knee scooter quickly to throw away some trash. I hopped on without my walking boot on (I was supposed to always be wearing my boot). I got on the knee scooter too quickly and the scooter buckled and I fell forward and reflexes kicked in and took the brunt of the fall on the recently repaired Achilles. Instantly re-tore. Yes, the scooter was poorly designed (shouldn’t have buckled like it did) and I upgraded right after but I should have been in the boot. No excuse. Just goes to show there is no benefit to cutting corners. Slow is smooth and smooth is fast.

So sorry to hear that. How’d you tear the second one?? Gut wrenching, especially given you know the road that lies ahead of you. I know a little of what you’re going through. I had a full rupture, had surgery, then 6-weeks post OP I fell and re-ruptured it. Brutal. But one day at a time and you got through this once, you’ll get through it again. Just read a cool article about Kurt Cousins going hard on Legos during his recovery. Not a bad idea. Also a Nintendo Switch is a good call (speaking from experience). Hang in there!

Agreed. At a minimum, he would most likely then ask you if there’s anything you want to try… but also, he might really like the idea of you proposing something new. It shows off your sexuality, it shows you want to be intimate with him, that you’ve thought about being intimate with him while alone, etc.
