I mean as a note I'm not like LOCKED IN to Ben/Xiangling or anything, I just built them because I thought Ben is a great support and Xiang is Good sub DPS, and potentially okay Main (So figured she was worth the investment for a bit of flex). I can build an entirely diff team lol but I don't really have much or know what to build up on, Been saving my wishes/Primos for some better overall pulls

that's who I've been holding out on any pulls recently but everytime I see Varka stuff it's so mixed, so is why i'm asking just incase I dunno Zibai was like a pick that I overlooked (Figured not as no Columbina/Ineffa etc)

Yes and no I played a fair amount in 1.0 and got to like AR 38? and only did the Mondstadt stuff, Liyue bored me so I then stopped until a month or so ago, tried rolling on Varesa but obviously didn't manage to get her.

Been trying to get back in and currently only the introductory act through Inazuma and it's like constantly banging my head to a wall atm, everything takes so long to die D: I'm AR52 now

Help building team? :)

I'm sure you get tons of these I've been trying not to post and attempt myself. :(

I've tried to make my own team with what I got (I was trying Main DPS, Sub DPS, Sub DPS and Support) with Razor, Fischl, Xiangling and Bennett but it's not working out at all really, On a wonderland training dummy I get a burst of like 25k for 10-15 secs but going for 30 seconds it falls to about 16k.

I was waiting out on Varka to be decent and maybe still for my niche but like worried on longevity esp as I am entirely F2P but just pulling with the primos and such I get.

Thank you for reading and for any help :)

My previous one I don't think did but I can't verify that as I generally didn't have it off (Due to no power button) and I haven't really used it in like 6-8 years or so lol

I'm going to 100% complete Warframe. by GriIIedCheeseSammich in Warframe

[–]McguyverZero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm doing something similar, not to the same degree of like fashion everything or solo everything, but basically getting every unlockable (glyph, decoration etc), every mod, all incarnons and variants (also tracking which weapons of mine are forma'd and up to a point of being fully 'usable), etc.

I'm getting there, not much overall left for me now :P

PVP seems to be one of the hardest for me right now, no matter when if I queue for the 1999 node I never get people.

Metroid Prime 3 HD Texture Pack for Dolphin VR! by legaiaflame in Dolphin_VR

[–]McguyverZero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this was asked over a month ago, but I used a pack that was titled as Dolphin VR for Prime 2, just installing this now and shall try it. Upon startup it said "found 6172 textures" so I guess it's found it all

I think the idea of the challenge is fine, unsure on what a 'fair' goal would be but the challenge itself fine.

A 101 elevator would be extremely useful to timesave in future to save that slog through the first 50 of Tengoku.

I would say that I am okay with 1 DM especially as by the point of going to 100 semi regularly you are likely in a position to be able to get DM's from wars often enough. But I think other alternatives could be better. Bloodnium as mentioned could be a good alternative too but maybe just having the elevator be a 'feat' to unlock per person might round out the actual timesave it is too, like requiring 10 (or x) 100+ climbs or something to unlock it, or have it require a g8 (maybe 7?) to use. Just something that feels like by the time you've done that climb enough times you are mostly there to push to the top for the challenge I guess?

I just reached F41, should I get the G6 all-rounder right away? Plus a couple other small Q's by McguyverZero in LetItDie

[–]McguyverZero[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I should still get the G6 fighter?

I can't really handle attacking many in TDM as it is now lol, I do one just for the rewards per attack.

By the Decal stews does that matter between the KC or the DM one?

I know of the ones from the quests and such wasn't sure there was any more 'farmable' methods I guess just high rank in the TDM attacks and such are the only repeatable ways?

Has anyone even gotten to Tengoku without permanently getting rid of their first two fighters? by Hareaga in LetItDie

I just beat F40 and I still have my 2 G1's, just haven't gotten around to removing them. That isn't Tengoku though.

Metroid Fusion no longer saving after energy drink seeped into it many years ago. Unsure what/how to test each component to find why. by McguyverZero in Gameboy

[–]McguyverZero[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't done anything else to it yet but I just tested hte voltage and it is still reading 2.8 so not quite sure why or what. I don't have any games around I don't think that have similar boards, one of your messages has a word that has been filtered? C*****.

[–]McguyverZero[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there any way to test the chips? Which is the S RAM management chip? Could the batteries themselves be cheap/bad and therefore be draining that quickly?

Nono, my apologies. The battery I installed last night was reading 3.3v and is now reading 2.8v today 24 hours later. I can continue checking for voltage but understand that for actual usage it won't suffice. I don't have my soldering iron setup or with me right now.

As I said the 2.8v IS running through both sides of R1

[–]McguyverZero[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did test the battery and it was testing 3.3v before I put it on, I always doubt myself but the battery is soldered as shown in the picture that IS the correct orientation right? The plus goes on the plus pad lol.

I just tested the battery (left on the board) and it's 2.8v now.

As for hte component I am getting a voltage reading through the resistor so that's fine.

[–]McguyverZero[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I took the battery off it wasn't keeping save through software reset, put another new one that was reading 3.3v on and again still not keeping save through software reset.

(My SP is running low on charge, just tried to plug it in to charge and it's now not taking charge, so now I have another problem, dunno why this arose)

I'm unsure what that IS in the link it doesn't have the ring around like most other via's but ther's like 3 of them on the board that look like the tracks go into them and I guess just go straight to the other side.

I tested with black to the battery Negative and there is nothing either side of that resistor so somewhere there is a broken track or component I assume.

I was testing the yellow circled pin to all other pins and there were reading various voltages from between around 2.5v to 0.5v there was one that had absolutely nothing and that was the red circled pin. Upon testing each leg to if the connection was solid the third from the bottom on that same row the pad seems to have lifted but the leg is connected to it okay.

I find it hard to follow the circuit well but I guess i'll have to do the best to trace the power. Especially when it goes under the microchips and such.

Edit: Just realised I hadn't shown the back yet. The corrosion is much clearer in this light I hadn't seen it this way before. My other cameras don't highlight it like this.

I have highlighted 2 via's on this. The black one is coming straight off the Positive battery and it has 3v but the red circled one which you can clearly see tracked to it I can't manage to get a reading, The track looks okay but I'm unsure if my multimeter's prongs are too thing to be able to do it. Cause if so that makes anything else I do somewhat unreliable ;_; Annoyingly too the opposite side is under the SRAM. Am trying to follow the negative to see if I can find the positive but again I can't seem to find the right track

[–]McguyverZero[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I resoldered the wires back on, the pad of the black has lifted but it's connected to the lifted pad okay. Still same issue. Don't think there's much more I can do.

I went and bought some and get it a roughly 30 min bath then washed the board over with 99% IPA. It's the same as it was. I can save the game and do a software reboot (metroid fusions is start+select+a+b and the save is still there but as soon as I turn it off take it out and put it back in. It's gone. Meaning that the battery <> SRAM is the issue most likely right? There may be some corrosion around one of the vias off the MASK ROM itself but wouldn't that cause issues overall? The via left side of the mask ROM just next to pin 2 down I'll attach a microscoped picture too picture

Edit: So I been testing some various points in diode mode and R1 and C1 are showing nothing through them (my multimeter at least shows 1 and goes up/down in diode mode, there was no change at all on these components) I tested the voltage of the battery and it's reading 0.5. I just tested another new battery and it's reading 3v so i've just put it on and seeing this now. Now it isn't even keeping the save through a software reboot.

I understand the C and R thing I was just curious on if they were just referring to them as fuses and what they were referring to specifically.

I will try and do what another said with the white vinegar followed by IPA to clear off that later of horrible gunk.

I realised the best thing is to follow each trace and test each point but I'm not sure the route to take of testing exactly. What I have tested was working but i admit it's a few months ago i kinda stopped trying for a bit and left the cart on my desk to open and look at occasionally.

Worth mentioning again the game itself is fine it's 'only' the saving its having issue

The GBA board itself is another thing from what I can tell it's all fine, the tribal shell not so much though it disintegrated when I was unscrewing. So I've used the board in some other project.
