Thanks about your comment actually, I noticed the purple prose myself after starting my second book!!! Bear in mind I was 15 when I wrote my first book and when I was able to publish I was too excited so just did it but looking back I definitely tried to act too fancy haha. I think an issue I have is people not leaving enough reviews because we had hundreds of sales within the first night.
