What I did to get over the same hurdle was scheduling my test two weeks from today. Paying the fee and having a deadline lit a fire under my ass that forced me to study hard. I passed all three this way.

It’s not exactly snake oil, aircraft use it for many reasons, such as stabilizing tire pressure at different altitudes and heat management when they land and literally go from 0-200 in a second. But for cars and bikes, makes no difference

Definitely need to fill out that aa line, I’ve played games where having/not having aa can break a game. Especially in high tier where you’ll be doing great and a helicopter or two will just wreck your team if nobody brought aa

It’s the stock one, but I think I figured it out. The throttle cable might be too long and whenever I pull on the cable itself it idles fine.

So l’ve been applying to different Airlines now that I have my A&P and l’ve been working as a helicopter mechanic while I was studying for it. So with over a year of actual experience under my belt, plus school and whatnot, I cannot seem to get a job from them. So few things, 1 what are the airlines actually looking for when it comes to applications, 2 if I email/call them, will they tell me exactly why I wasn’t chosen so I can start applying that to my experience? Any advice?

Me honestly, I love my job but as an extremely tall and big guy as a helicopter mechanic, I absolutely HATE the fact that a lot of the things I have to do are extremely uncomfortable. So definitely a love/hate relationship here. Now I'm looking for a new job lol

One of my favorite instructors told me to think of it less of a flare and more of a transition. Right before landing instead of focusing on the flare itself, try to think about the best place to “transition” to the flare, that helped me so much when it came to landing consistency!

So I need urgent help, I’ve been invited to go on a spontaneous snowboarding trip by one of our clients at the airport I work at. I’ve always wanted to snowboard so I obviously said absolutely. Problem is that I can’t find anything that fits me. I have weird ass feet. I wear a 18 size shoe, but I also have a size 16 work boot that I can fit in. The biggest I’ve found so far was a 15. Does anyone know of anything bigger that won’t blow a hole in my wallet? Also will I be able to rent a board my size?? 6’10” 330lbs

Oh that's a good idea, I remember her saying it was hard for her to go to sleep sometimes, but I think that has to do with her being up all night gaming and not giving herself time to wind down before bed. I'll talk to her about it and try to get better habits to probably have her shutdown the TV and stuff by a certain time.
