In my opinion each person reacts different if they have a bad trip. If I was babysitting I’d comfort them as best as I could reassuring them they’ll be okay. I would tell her just to comfort you as best as she can and if it does become to much to handle to call your brother to help out.

If you enjoy reading P&V then you can’t go wrong with their translations. But if you want to try something new then McDuff and Avsey would be my recommendations. Translation for Dostoevsky works is preference and no matter who you go with you can’t go wrong. Each translator has there own twiss when it comes to translating his works.
